Colin Powell endorses Obama for 2nd term
Georgia Dawg replied to kcarlsonlpn's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Obama got the nomination based on how well he articulated rhetoric. There is no substance that would make him a good president. The only reason he was being supported is because people are convinced the world will come to an end if McCain got elected, that also is based on rhetoric. -
The real question: is Friday December 21, 2012 payday?

Maybe the girls were simply dressed that way to get one of the auto store technicians to do some work on her... car. -
Pcom has become a divided forum with one side constantly changing the subject, making personal attacks against others, etc. It's a shame that this sort of behavior seems to be supported by, and also exhibited by, the management. It seems that a decent discussion of facts and opinions can't be done here either. Too bad everyone can't converse as grown, intelligent adults. This place sometimes seems like the playground at some elementary school.

We pay ZERO% tax on grocery food here in Florida. Saving 3% there. We pay ZERO% state income tax here in Florida. Saving 6% there. We are paying about 3 cents less per gallon of gasoline here in Florida. Saving 1% there. Utilities for the same size house are cheaper than Greystone. Saving 15% there. Tell me again, why we should live in Paulding?

The debate this evening... who do you think won?

We'll have to see if Obama backs up on his statement that the economy is headed in the right direction. Even though it was found that one large state did not report its unemployment numbers, Obama still continued to politize the report saying his policies were working. That 30,000 drop was replaced with a 46,000 increase in jobless claims this week, showing the President chose again to LIE instead of accessing the facts and telling the American people the truth. Obama did the same thing on the attacks in Libya. Perpetual liars have a habit of jumping to conclusions and spin stories that su -
I think the real TRICK or TREAT is going to be November 6th. Here's to hoping we don't get TRICKED again...

Sad news in the entertainment world. Larry LaPrise, who wrote the song and dance classic 'The Hokey Pokey' is dead at 93. His funeral went off with only one hitch, while transferring Larry to his coffin, they put his left leg in, and that's when the trouble began. -

Plan and practice for a 'knock their socks off' first dance surprise. And don't let the guys takes your future hubby to the Varsity for an 'All you can eat Chili Dogs' event the day before the wedding. It's not a pretty sight...

Gray is the preferred American spelling, although grey is an accepted variant. Most of the people on here who voted Grey are probably thinking of Grey's Anatomy - but she's not a color. If you want to use Grey then you should also use words such as: colour, labour, centre, litre, organisation, analyse, cancelled, whilst, orientated, tyre, etc. Either use American english or UK english.

If the democrats plan on raising the budget for one of their pet projects by 10%, and then the republicans come along and change it to a 6% increase, all you'll hear the democrats raging about is that 4% cut in funding. I'm sorry, but that's just the way they think.

My father died on the 5th floor of Redmond hospital in Rome, GA at 6:00 PM on a Friday night. 4 months later, my mother died on the 5th floor of Redmond just down the hall from the room where my father passed away. She passed on a Friday night at 6:00 PM. I spoke the nurse who was there at both my father's and mother's passing and mentioned the coincidence. She said, "Doesn't surprise me much. The angels seem to make their rounds every evening around 6 o'clock."

Since the Postman has already declared Obama the winner based on early voting, I guess the rest of the Democrats can just stay home November 6th.

According to the latest reports, Panetta and Clinton undertook the mission, and Leon signed the order to take Bin Laden out. They decided to go that route since Obama had cancelled their plans to take Osama out on 3 separate occasions in the 5 months prior to the final mission. Panetta had Obama called in from the golf course to watch the mission, that was already underway and did not get Obama's approval before the Seals were engaged in the mission.
