I would love to take you there and show you around. I didn't go to Berry, I went to Shorter College in Rome; however, I grew up in the town right above Rome and spent a lot of time at Berry due to friends going to college there. You will love it Lucky! Beautiful campus, beautiful area and lots of history.

That is what we had - hubby had a ribeye and I had tempura shrimp fresh from the Gulf of Mexico. We also had stuffed potatoes, corn on the cobb and the Southern Living pasta salad (with grapes, walnuts, broccoli, etc.) The pasta salad was really good!

So how did you do in Vegas? See any good shows?

I love Southwest! We fly with them at least 4 times a month and never have a bad experience. I gave Delta a chance but it simply didn't work out well. You know those pesky little things.......on time flights, customer service, etc.

Delta has a 78 percent market share at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport. If that is not a monopoly, it is a very near monopoly. I know it doesn't fit your agenda, but the truth is the truth.

This is where you are wrong Whitey. The people in the anti airport expansion groups voices are not the only "voices to be heard." There are many, many people supporting the airport expansion whose voices need to be heard also. The anti airport expansion people are not the only citizens that have voices. Us "clowns" as YOU call them, are simply people that want our county to progress and move forward. We love our county, thus the reason for wanting us to move forward and prosper.

Loved Lake Tahoe although it has been a long time since I have been there. We stayed at Harrah's right on the Nevada / California border. We stayed inside the hotel for dining as the restaurants were outstanding. If I remember correctly, the only time we ate outside the hotel was on a dinner boat cruise. We rode snow mobiles and skied the Heavenly Valley ski slopes. We also had fun playing in the casinos of course and took a day trip to San Francisco. I very much agree with your above statements. It is a sad state of affairs when one has to resort to continually using the word "crap" to attempt to get a point across.

I have no idea who he is but I am very impressed with the retired military man who spoke at the end in support of the airport expansion. He appears very humble, respectable and sincere and obviously spoke from his heart. Sounds like he has a lot invested in our community and only wants what is best for the greater good of our community. He was very respectable and handled himself with class and dignity.

My thoughts and prayers are with Sheila and her family. Sheila is a wonderful person and my thoughts and prayers are with her as she mourns both the losses of her husband and her father.

When you first enter the AHJ Airport property going toward the North and South Terminals, you will see the signs for the cell phone lot. Try to stay in the right hand lane to get to it as you are heading toward the terminals. It is not very far at all coming in off of Camp Creek Parkway. They are doing some major construction at the airport so please be careful and watch out for traffic merging in from the left. If I am really close to the time the flight is coming in, I don't use the cell phone lot and just continue to drive through the check in lanes at the terminal. Just tell
