My husband likes quiche and take my word for it, he is a "real man".

I personally haven't seen a flyer in which he denies he is supporting the airport commercialization. Do you have a copy of one where he addresses the airport specifically and where he denies support of the commercialization of the airport? I'm not trying to be condescending and am not saying that there is not a flyer out there where Barnett specifically denies his support of airport commercialization, I just haven't seen one.

I doubt very seriously that David Barnett thought for a second that anyone receiving that campaign flyer would think he by himself was responsible for these projects. That is obviously not possible for many reasons including the fact that these issues would be voted on and approved by the majority of the Commissioners and in some cases, our legislature. I believe he probably thought that it was a foregone conclusion that he was simply a part of a collaborative effort in these projects.

I know my husband is impressed and said that it has been busy every time he goes. I hope they enjoy continued success!

I guess things must not be going well with your arguments because you are really, really "stretching" lately. The Paulding Business Association is simply a "networking group" and has nothing to do with any Paulding County governmental agencies. There are many "networking groups" across the Metro Atlanta area and their goal is to assist each of the small business members in promoting their businesses. Sounds like the event was a great success today mojo and that the weather was of little or no impact! I am happy that our veterans now have a park named in their honor - they made huge sacrifices on behalf of our country and I am very appreciative of this. I am happy to see our county honor our veterans in such a manner and am so happy everything went well today!

I was unable to attend but I agree with you, what a wonderful tribute to our veterans! I hope that everyone in our county will enjoy this park but I especially hope our veterans will. What a great way to honor them and their service to our country!

Thanks lowrider! I took them by myself to the beach the last 3 days of Spring Break and the following weekend. I should have listened to my husband and took another adult with me. I was exhausted when we got back but we had a good time. I should have called you to go with us - you could have brought your grandchildren along and then we would have really had a houseful.

There are not many hotels that are beachfront and there are actually not many condos, etc. The King and Prince is very nice and is beachfront. I believe they have several suites with kitchenettes. You might also find a beach house to rent. My sister-in-law grew up on St. Simons Island and her parents still live there and have a business there - would you like for me to ask them for suggestions? Hope you have a great time!

How are all the Paulding.com peeps doing? I haven't been on much lately as I have been busy moving back from Texas and getting settled back in here in Paulding County and down in Mexico Beach. We love being back home with the children and grandchildren but really missing my Texas friends and co-workers. My Dad has been very ill but slowly recovering so that has occupied a lot of my time also. Thank goodness he is doing better and it has been great to be able to spend more time with my parents. They are getting older and I treasure each and every minute with them! So what is happening
