  1. AWWW, isn't that just the sweetest thing in the world??? Those are some of the best memories and you will never forget them!
  2. I have gone to the Cartersville office twice. The first time was the initial visit and of course it took longer but I was still in and out within an hour. The majority of that time was completing the info on the computer. The second time I was in there maybe an hour but only waited about 15mins for them to call my name - the remainder of that time was spent with the lady in the back discussing my benefits. I don't know about Cedartown or Carrollton, but I would NEVER go to Marietta. My DSIL went there about a year ago and could not even get in the door and was told he would have to
  3. We have Sprint Everything Data (4 phone lines), 1500 minutes, unlimited mobile-to-mobile on any network, texting, web surfing, etc. I believe we pay $170 per month. And we never even come close to going over our allocated minutes.
  4. Wow - after reading another thread, it sounds as though Dish has a lot of issues. So, they are now looking at Direct TV as well. GeorgiaMommy, I know you said you are having problems with them. Could you either post (or PM me) what issues you are having? Justagirl - same thing - how has your service been with them? My DD and DSIL just moved to Yorkville and Comcast is not an option for them but they don't want to sign a contract with a company that is going to cause them problems.
  5. My DD and DSIL are trying to sign up for Dish Network. They were told by the customer service rep that if they knew someone who already had Dish Network, that person could save $50 on their next bill and my DD would save $50 on their deposit. If so, please pm me.
  6. I am drawing unemployment and I also certify on Tuesday. I'm not sure about all of the rules, but I did ask when I went in for my initial visit what I should do if I chose to go back to school and was told that there were forms that I would need to complete, have verified by the school and that I could continue to draw my benefits without having to actually look for a job while I was enrolled in school. Maybe they have some kind of rule/program for people who are incarcerated.... I don't know, just guessing.....
  7. Is the Symantec security as good or better than Trend Micro Security? I currently have Trend but it will be coming up for renewal next month. I would prefer to keep my money - especially since I have Comcast.
  8. I had a boss like that one time - I worked for him but we were (and still are) very good friends - he told everyone I was his daytime wife - even his nighttime wife referred to me as his daytime wife.
  9. It amazes me how many women are registered on the list.....
  10. WELL, DH and I had crab claws and shrimp, salad, roasted new potatoes and ribeye steaks with a bottle of Chardonnay wine and chocolate overload cake for dessert....it is our 16th wedding anniversary and we had planned to go out for dinner but the snow made us rethink our plans and we had a wonderful dinner at home instead.
  11. There used to be one - my children attended that daycare many years ago, though. There is also one on Electric Dam Road off Old Cartersville....
  12. Absolutely praying for your hubby, the doctors and you! I have been in your shoes as my DH had a ruptured disc in his back - went thru the same procedures (shaving the disc, therapy, etc) and ended up with a 2nd surgery to put in screws and plates. He does fine now although he does still have some pain. If you need anything at all, even if it is only someone to talk to, let me know.
  13. AWWW - I would be happy to prepare dinner for the two of them!
  14. We have used Henderson Collision near Dallas Elem and Dallas Collision near Hardy Chev - both are great! Wouldn't want to take one of my vehicles anywhere else.
  15. I didn't know you were kidding. Almost all of my family is buried at Wesley Chapel UMC in Marietta and I am not kidding....
  16. Still praying for Shannon, you and the entire family. It is a very difficult thing to go thru. I have never lost a sibling but have lost numerous family members - most of them to cancer. We have many comical memories of various loved ones that happened during very dark periods and it does warm your heart later to think back on those times. I know that God will give you the strength to get through this because as it has been said many times previously - HE IS IN CONTROL!
  17. I have used Taxcut for years. My DD went to HRB this year because she had her son to claim - they charged her $238 for a very simple return! I told her she should have let me do it for her......
  18. I really could use a $100 gift certificate - especially if it is for lawn care - I can't seem to get my now previous lawn man to trim the shrubs in front of my house and they are about to reach the eaves of the house.
  19. That's another good idea! Thanks!
  20. Thanks, I am going to try it - can't hurt anyways.
  21. I LOVE IT!!! BUT, you know what's so bad - the youngest person in our house (not counting the 11mo old grandson) is 24yrs old - and I think it was a 30yr old that left the ink in their pocket.... But you are right - I find breath mints, cigarette lighters, gum, papers, tissues - all kinds of strange things in my dryer but this is the first time I've had ink.
  22. Well, dang! I was really hoping that one of the suggestions would work! I'm going to try all of the ideas and hopefully it will at least get the excess ink off. Well, honestly I didn't think to google - my first thought was that someone on pcom would have a solution for me - LOL
