I just thought about trains. Would they not be a better alternative to flying?

I miss my trade magazine (Vet Tech). I love to be able to pull an issue out and just sit and read it.

It's on my Christmas wish list too. In addition to a few others that I can use in conjunction with DS's lessons.

You are so right. It wouldn't be so bad if it were just one person. Oh well tomarrows another day. And, Sunday can't come fast enough.

Most of the time it depends on how stressed I am, and how many snotty, snipy, arrogant, know it all asses I have to deal with. This has been one of those weeks.

I have found it hard just to get into the spirit of Thanksgiving much less Christmas yet. Maybe it is time to get out the decorations and lighten the mood around here.

You do know there is a reason that your private areas are covered when you get a radio-graph. There is a reason that during the radio-graph the technician stands behind a lead lined wall. Given that we are exposed to radiation particles every day all day long why would you want to subjugate yourself to more? I guess those who fly will have gooberment issued dosimeters. When you've reached your levels for the year you will not be able to fly for a set amount of time. Yeah, good luck with that. Oh and I would have to slap the dog poo outta anybody who tries to touch my kid.

We used to live across the street from this "family" who during the day would play that rap with all the filthy words in it. I would have my widows closed and could still hear it. We never have T or Ts so what can I say. Took DS to trunk or treat on Friday and then T or T on Sunday. Didn't see many kids out on Sunday.

That would be ham and this is the cold cut sub. They use romaine lettuce instead of iceburg. I have yet to find a sub that is even close. They also make the bread on site.

Why do you think that is the first thing they will cut? Please try to explain in a complete thought with sources and proof. You know what they say about ASSuming? Is there a follow up to this? Seems like everyone is jumping to conclusions. Maybe they will cut welfare. The part that the state pays. Or maybe close the state parks. How bout a radical idea of no pay hikes for anyone all the way up to the Governor. In any case I didn't see where education is being considered.

Where in the link did it say that? After all if it isn't written out how can you infer that is what he meant? What are the clue words in the link? I didn't see anything that said roads, schools, or services would be cut back.

Never mind. Kids today are coddled. I think we can all agree to that. Kids are not allowed to see the score board depending on the mamby pamby attitude of the parents. I can only speak to the sports related issues b/c that is what my kids are/were into. If every one gets the same belt in martial arts or scouts I don't know and would not presume to speak for that.
