That is the number one reason to have it. I hate having to clean under the eyes. Not only that but I can never get the dang things to back in right. So yep the smooth top has made my life a whole lot eaiser.

I love mine. I do have cast iron but if I happen to make cornbread or something like that it goes in the oven anyways. I have found it easy to clean (I'm always letting things boil over.) Yeah I don't cook if I don't HAVE to. But, it was here when we bought the house and I like mine.

Well everyone pretty much covered what I would tell you. DD was thirteen when I was pregnant.
