You must have taken some good drugs. I noticed you were being VERY GOOD.
-
Then you REALLY have misunderstood both of my post. I consider state to be local, as it directly impacts all of us. As far as the buttheads, I refering to some others that like to come in and do nothing but insult and disagree no matter what. I was not refering to you. But, at least better late then never to ask about these things.

No, where did you get that from???? Anytime the gooberment wants to pass a bill it is important. Yes, I thing Paulding Co, and state issues should stay in the cafe'. I also understand that there will be some butt heads that will come into or start topics and state things just to tick people off.
-
Actually a lot of the threads on this started out in the cafe' and were quickly moved to the PF. I too think that threads about LOCAL issues should stay here. Beacause, a lot of folks will vote in the local elections and will not understand or know what they are voting on. I also am wary of anything that is being touted on the TV 2 weeks before it is to be voted on. Admendment 2 comes to mind. If it is really that important why have they just started to run commercials about it?

Please come and play. Yes you do have to go to page two most of the time to get past some one's whining. Unfortunately sometimes the discussions do disintegrate into personal attacks, that's when I usually leave the topic. Most of the time they start out with the information you need and can be quite civil, so it is worth it to look into this forum.

There's been a ton of disscussions for the past three months about this. I know y'all don't like the political fourm, but that is where these things are disscused/diseccted and debated on. Most often way before 6 days before the vote is to be taken. Sorry if this has come off snarky, but........

I thought they were already all over the place. I want to know when GA power is coming. I will gladly switch back to them. My bills were always $50-$100.00 less with them. For the same size house.

I'm thinking he is a Republican! Hoo RAH

I'm in. Sounds like the perfect thing to do. When, Where? Oh and keep in mind I'm an old lady, may need some time to oil the bones.

Not many people know, but Hiram was the father-in-law of Abraham. It is a Biblical name. I do understand not wanting to name him that though.

We just have the 11yo at home so I will be taking him out on SUN. If you see a Green Blazer driving slowly in your SD, it's just me. We don't have to worry about getting TrT. Our road is to busy and the houses are to far apart. We do not live in a SD.

Yes, I needed to lighten this place up a little. I so remember these things. Oh and flooding the room with light is a little scary, but it does work. http://shine.yahoo.com/event/momentsofmotherhood/user-post-how-to-awaken-a-teenager-2402224/ When you first become a parent, nobody tells you that the tiny, cute, little baby in your arms will someday grow up to be a teenager. Oh sure, we all expect it to happen, but seriously, are any of us fully prepared for the teen years? No, we aren’t. Or at least, I’m not. And that’s why I’m reaching out, helping others to survive the turbule

Cool Friday we can do!! We wanted to go to the Trick or Treat villiage this weekend, but we still have football going on. Our game is at 12:00 this Saturday so we may be able to get to some of the Church events.

What are you letting that child watch????? JK I'm yanking your chain. DS looks at these things and always states "God makes beautiful paintings." He is usually refering to sunrises or sets. Either way when you just stop and look, how can you not be in awe?

Y'all know that veterans are very dear and near to me. There are more then a few questions here. The story it's self is contradictory. How can they say that the military does not allow illegals to sign up, yet it is quite obvious that it does. From the story: "Up to 8,000 non-citizens enlist in the U.S. Armed Forces every year and serve alongside American troops. As of May 2010, there were 16,966 non-citizens on active duty. The military does not allow illegal immigrants to enlist. If non-citizens die while serving, they are given citizenship and a military funeral. If they live and

I don't recall anything getting loose in WPB though. I still think a VA hospital would be awesome. There is land that is connected with a military cementary close to here. Just a thought.
-
There has been a Lion country Safari in WPB forever. I don't recall any ever getting loose. It really is a cool place to visit.

A VA hospital. That way our Vets do not have to travel all the way to Decatur. I know that there is a facility in Rome and it has some services. But, in order to get into that clinic you still have to go through Decatur. It would be great to have the same hospital here that is in Decatur. On the fun side a Lion Country Safari type of attraction might be good. Educational and informative. Take the empty stores an instead of building new buildings use them for manufacturing of some sort or two. Yes, I know that they would have to be remodeled, but it would still create jobs.

Does that apply to ALL not for profit entities? Including Unicef, the Red Cross, and all other non-profits?

You could put a sign on the stuff that says "if you eat anyof this beware, I may have spit on it, licked it, or even put something in it." May make them think about it before hand.

Or be mature enough to agree to disagree. I do not agree with Juan most of the time and sometimes he gets on my last nerve. NPR was wrong period. They didn't like what he said and then they tried to say he violated a clause in his contract. But, they knew he was on Fox, so they are the ones in the wrong.
