  1. My son spoke to his friends and I am sorry but they don't know Justin. I sure hope you hear from him soon or he just comes home on his own.
  2. I sure hope you find him. My DS just graduated from HHS, but he did not know him. I will have him get in touch with his friends that still go there and see if they know anything. I will post if something comes up.
  3. I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
  4. I am glad you found her and she is okay. It's hard out there on your own at such a young age. I have been there and done that and if i had to over again I would do things differently. I have no regrets, but I would just do it another way. My thoughts are with as you try to sort this all out.
  5. That is very sad, but like Tess said, he died doing what he loved. We are headed for Daytona in the morning.
  6. Checking in hoping for some good news.Keeping you in my thoughts.
  7. Well, I have been spelling it the wrong way forever, guess I'll have to change. Thanks y'all.
  8. I spoke to one of my DS friends that just graduated from SPHS. He said he knows who she is but doesn't know her other than that. I was hoping he MIGHT have an idea from word of mouth where she could be, but unfortunately he did not. I hope she is found soon or will come home on her own.
  9. Congratulations!! The photos are wonderful and tell such a sweet story about a very special moment in your lives. Beautiful ring, you have great taste in jewelry.
  10. I used to love Oatland Island when I was a kid. We always went there on class field trips in elementary school. I second Mrs. Wilkes, especially if you like good ole country cookin' done right. They are open M-F 11am -2pm. If you decide to go there be in line no later than 10:30am but expect a wait and it is worth it. Oh and BTW they only take cash or checks, NO credit cards and I believe it costs about $16 per person. Spanky's on River Street is great, but IMO most of the other restaurants down there are too touristy, too expensive and not worthy, with the exception of Wet Willy's (ask for a
  11. My Dad is deceased and I only hugged him. Friends and extended family I will hug depending on how well I know them. I will hug and kiss, on the cheek, my two kids and always hug and kiss my hubby. But when a friend in need, no matter how well I know them, if they are having a rough go of it, I hug because IMO those simple gestures can speak louder than words.
  12. Sending prayers and thoughts her way as well as for her parents. I hope the results from the spinal tap come back okay.
  13. Glad to hear he is stable. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope all goes well for your grandmother too. Keep your chin up.
  14. I am so sorry to hear about this. I will keep this family in my thoughts and prayers. As God welcomes this little Angel home, I pray that He will wrap His loving arms around her family and help them find peace.
  15. Keeping in my prayers for a good outcome. I am sorry to hear of your husbands disabilities, hopefully after all of this is over the two of you can move forward and live your lives in peace and with fewer worries. The government can be so difficult to deal with unless they want something from you then it's demanded right there on the spot. Best of luck tomorrow.
  16. I always buy everything on the list that comes from the teacher that my kids need. Then I buy extra supplies for any other students whose parents maybe can't afford that is requested.
  17. It was a whatever dinner for us. I had Skyline chili, DD had a Lunchable pizza and DH had leftover steak, broccoli and greek salad.
  18. I'm sending you and your daughter some thoughts and prayers. Scottish Rite is a good hospital. My DD went there after having a febrile seizure when she was a year old. They were great, even their security staff was wonderful. The night she went my DH was working and I couldn't get him on his cell phone. When we got to SR the security officer there contacted security at the hospital my DH was working at, had him on the phone and transferred it to our room. Maybe it doesn't sound like much to some, but when I needed DH most the staff at SR made it happen. The doctors and nurses were very pati
  19. Congratulations AJ. When the time comes, definitely get the drugs because bravery has NOTHING to do with it when it comes to labor pains. I had my DS without drugs and I said no way not ever again, I was 18. Then I had my DD at 26 and I actually thought I could do it without drugs, hahahahahaha, I got the epidural. It was short lived though, 7 hours of painful drug free labor and she was born 15 minutes after the epidural. Go figure. Again, congratulations on your Gummy Bear. :yahoo:
  20. Tow, if you have Giardia you need to see the Dr. to have a test for it so you can be treated for it properly. Giardia is NOT fun, I know, I had once several years ago. Got it through the drinking water according to the ER doc at Kennestone.
  21. I know someone who has had it for 7 days, but he has also had nausea and fever. He said he finally felt better today.
  22. There is one in Pooler, near Savannah, where I grew up. I don't care for it, but I would go there if I had to. Their prices are high, the quality of their perishables is so-so at best, IMO. There are others around the area and from what I remember they are all about the same. However, I would never buy meat or seafood there. Maybe when this new one moves in it will change my mind. We'll see and maybe it will have good management that insists upon quality and freshness.
  23. IDK, but could it be because their was no fatality and it was a single car accident? I am very glad to hear this person will be okay. Lucky person, indeed.
  24. I will pray for his safe return.
