  1. Someone "entered" my unlocked truck several years ago and now we lock all the cars. They didn't take anything, not even the change, but took weird stuff from my neighbors truck. Stuff like, toothpicks, qtips, that sort of stuff, but not their change either. I can't park my truck in the garage it's too big and even if I could DH has his gym equipment in there on one side and the other side is storage.

That is very pretty and I agree, not one to used just look. It reminds me of a bedspread my grandmother crocheted many years ago. Unfortunately a very shady family member took it and sold it in a yard sale. that bed spread was so pretty and HEAVY. I don't know the pattern she used but yours just reminded me of it. You do very nice work.
  3. Thoughts and prayers for everyone involved. There have been so many accidents lately, it's frightening.
  4. Hey thanks for letting us know. I was getting ready to go down there to Publix, it's grocery day. Guess I will just go to Kroger.
  5. Rest in Peace Mr. Cronkite. Thank you for the memories.
  6. Call the Dept. of Natural Resources and ask them if the normal nesting time is over for these birds. Explain to them what you need to do as far as lighting a fire to clear out any deceased birds and feces.
  7. I understand being arrested for possession and I firmly agree with that, you do the crime you do the time. But what is wrong with taking a photo of police officers as the boys drove by them? I don't understand that part.
  8. Oh yes he was. Totally agree he needs to be punished. He should have been more professional about the situation and tried to calm the girl without throwing expletives himself.
  9. Sounds like carpenter ants. They are as bad as termites.
  10. I agree about the officer being punished, but this girl is 17 yo, she says she was scared so why not stop running her mouth and state her emergency? I understand she was frightened for her Dads life, but that doesn't, IMO, relieve her from running her mouth like she did, no one would take her seriously. She never bothered to say her Dad was having a seizure just that SHE wanted an ambulance. Instead of running her mouth, how about replacing some of other words with "my Dad needs help". Rather she took the time to ask for the officers badge number. Why couldn't that be done after the fact? She
  11. We use a Bioguard Mineral Springs System. We love it and it is very easy to maintain and inexpensive, when compared to a chlorinated pool. We bought our system from Brown's Pools.
  12. Have you posted your photos from when the BF proposed yet? or did I miss them?
  13. I concur, Scalini's is the best Italian, hands down. Besides, the atmosphere there is wonderful and can be very intimate. That alone is worth going since it may be a little while before you and your wife get some alone time out.
  14. How old is your daughter? Just asking because you said she was afraid to tell you. I hope she been getting prenatal care. Now as far as the camo, if none of the other places nearby has any, you might have to go with Cabela's or BassPro (someone else suggested these two). There is also a Barnes store in Carrollton that carries some stuff for younger ones. But call around first before you spend a fortune in gas. Congratulations on your new grandson and becoming a Grandma!! Let us know when he arrives and how he and Mom are doing.
  15. Oh I already had a strawberry margarita. Tequila IS my friend. Lawd I needed that drink, how about another?
  16. Now I know that clear polish works just as well as any other, but a couple years DH got chiggers and needed my help. He had done something that day to irritate me, keep that in mind. He had them all over one arm and a few on the other arm, so I told him I had to put nail polish on them to kill 'em but that only red nail polish would do the trick. He believed me.
  17. Prayers being sent his way. I hope for a speedy and full recovery.
  18. Wow, that is a very surprising report, nothing will be be done. We have a glass patio table and bought it in 1999, I hope it doesn't explode. It has been blown over several times by strong winds when we forget to close the umbrella and it has not broken yet, maybe it won't.
  19. Are you looking to buy a home down there? If so I can recommend a realtor.
  20. That is so wonderful. I am glad to hear that HR likes her Sparky as much as you do. So have the two of you discussed a date yet or at least a season? Can't wait to see the pics. So he proposed while you were at Tybee? That's cool.
  21. Wow, that is wonderful. Is HR excited about her Mom re-marrying? Congratulations to LGM!!
  22. If I'm not mistaken he is off Ridge Rd. From 92 turn right on Ridge and turn right at the first red light, Garmen Road and when you come to the four way stop, go straight. If it's the same guy he is down this road on the right, but I'm not sure exactly how far. HOpe this helps.
  23. My two were in my bedroom and Mickey, our Rat Terrier scratched the paint of the back of my bedroom door. Dodger, my IG just hid under the covers on my bed. We were one of those crazies that blew stuff up, but my DS, DH and DS's friends will go around cleaning up the neighbor's yards in the morning. They all came out, set up chairs and watched too. We have great neighbor's, but I have to say I would rather go watch the big shows than do it ourselves. It can be scary sometimes.
