  1. I don't know. This was a PM from a newbie and I have no idea who this person is, they just asked that I post it so others would have an update. I keep watching the radar and hoping that we can get a break in this rain for awhile but it just seems like this storm cell has stalled over the area.

  9. Did y'all hear that?!!!!!
  10. Woohoo to the good Samaritan with the boat.
  11. Well we have a brief reprieve from the rain right now. I'm off Poole Bridge/Ridge Rd and the rain has come to just a drizzle. Hope this last long enough to get those folks rescued.
  12. So many things are happening on and around Ridge Road, please heed the warnings. I was out about 7:00 last evening and Ridge Rd was getting bad then. The best drivers could do was 30, including the ambulance that was responding to a call with lights and sirens. It was so bad on Poole Bridge that the ambulance could only go 20-25 mph. I was behind it trying to get home.
  13. So many are getting caught in rising waters. I wonder if any of the radio stations are reporting any of this information to drivers to help avoid some of this? Maybe some people are simply trying to get home from work, late shift, and may be unaware of the dangers on their way home, at least on the roads they use to get home.
  14. I sure wish I had a boat to loan out. I would do it in a heartbeat.
  15. This is very serious. Praying so hard they can get the lady to safety soon.
  16. Thanks. So much is happening I'm getting very confused trying to keep up with all the activity. I sure hope they get those kids put safely and the rescuers are safe as well.
  17. OMG!!! Great picture Pubby, but I really feel bad for the person whose car is now ruined. I hope the water stayed out of the businesses at least.
  18. I'm getting confused now.The teens are on Williams Lake Rd correct?
  19. I too am amazed at the activity tonight. Your right our emergency crews are awesome tonight, I pray for their safety.
  20. I'm so happy to hear that the surgery went well. I will keep your son in my thoughts and prayers for a smooth recovery.
  21. My DD had a spacer that was put in about two years ago and finally removed about 6 months ago. She said it hurt when they put it in but after that she never had any problems. The only thing is she couldn't eat gummy treats, like fruit rolls ups and gummy bears. After her dentist showed me what gummy treats can do to teeth, she is only allowed to have them occasionally. As far as insurance I don't recall exactly how much I had to pay but insurance did pay some towards the spacer. BTW my DD is now 10 yo.
  22. I'm still trying to beat Wordsthatapply at Farkle, but it just ain't happening, yet. I'm also trying to catch up with her on FarmTown but I have a LONG way to go to get to a bazillion coins. sigh....
  23. Wow. I just looked this up and watched the video of her interview. That is absolutely incredible and wonderful news for this lady and future patients who could benefit from this type of procedure.
