What is your favorite white chicken chili receipe?
raclay replied to pyrojosh's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That sounds pretty good and out of 44 reviews it still got 5 stars. I think I will make this one this week. Thanks for sharing it. -
VEry scary and thankfully the son did not get in the truck. I live off Ridge Road, where is Cole Lake Road?

Oh is that what this about? I thought he might have sent it in an effort to actually help people. Hopefully it will have information that can help folks, but like you said he's running.

How did the first night of the Haunted Junkyard Hayride go?
raclay replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think we will bring her. The child likes scary movies and understands that it's acting. She has been having a fit to go ever since she first saw the sign. She has enjoyed watching the place come together and has gotten more and more excited about it. We just live off Ridge Rd, so we drive past all the time. We will see y'all one night, probably a Thursday. -
Dear Mrs. Hawk: Last week, our state witnessed a series of severe storms that resulted in flooding across much of north Georgia and the metro Atlanta area. As a result, Gov. Sonny Perdue requested a federal disaster declaration from President Obama to assist the affected areas. On September 24, 2009, President Obama issued a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Georgia, triggering the release of federal funds to help individuals recover from the severe storms and flooding that began September 18, 2009, and continuing. Currently, the counties of Bartow, Carroll,

How did the first night of the Haunted Junkyard Hayride go?
raclay replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We drove past on the way home last night about 8:00 and it looked like they had a good bit of stuff going on there. I noticed a BBQ tent and a bunch of other tents as well, but I don't know what was under them, I was driving and it was dark. My 10 yo DD wants to go, can anyone that went lat me know if it would be too scary for her? -
We love Jim N Nick's for BBQ and their kitchen sink nachos, in fact we ate there tonight. Martin's is wonderful for their bacon egg and cheese biscuits. I need to go try out the Hiram Coffee House, it must be good since they always seem to be busy, but not too busy to get good service. Actually, I saw the shop on an episode of House Hunters on HGTV. We need to venture out of Hiram more and visit some of these other places. I know it's on Douglasville, but Gumbeaux's is really good Cajun food. We tried Dogwood's a few years ago that was mentioned in some other posts but we were NOT impress

That is such a sweet photo. When my son was little, I took him to have his pics taken and he absolutely refused to wear his shoes. I still remember that day and look back on it now and I think it was so cute as he is wearing his socks in every picture. It bugged me at the time that he was so determined not to wear shoes.

I am having Starbucks Breakfast Blend. That's what hubby likes and I like Irish Creme. My most favorite brand of coffee is Gevalia, but got tired of them always sending those funky flavors, like Pumpkin Spice that I just have to throw away because I don't know anyone that likes those odd flavors either. Not to mention Gevalia is $$$$$$. I need to run to Target this morning and I might just have to stop at Starbucks for a tall caramel machiato. Yummy.

Wow. I realize mistakes happen, but who's to say that other companies won't start doing these sort of things intentionally in order to profit from "mistakes". Hopefully if this was a legitimate error on the part of the roofing company they will make good on the repairs at their expense. Times are tough right now and nothing surprises me anymore.

go horse back riding. I haven't done that in years.

Sending more thoughts and prayers to your grandson. I am hoping to check back in here later and hear that he is showing significant improvement. God is listening.

We ate there too. They were using paper plates and plastic utensils. I guess the dishwasher got the night off. That place was busy too.

Morning Sadie. We are having a yard sale today. What are you doing today? Hope you have a great day!!

That is a great offer!! We love Sports A Rama and are up there at least three to four days a week. My son has been going there for a few years now. He uses the batting cages, has trained with Steve at USA Gym, TKD, you name it. It's a great family friendly environment. Amy

I want to send my prayers and condolences to the family. I did not know this young man but this is such a sad and tragic loss of such a young life. May I ask with whom he was employed? My husband is also a pipefitter.
-
Well here's to the power of prayer!! I am glad to hear that mamatoto's husband is not critical and hopefully will have a full recovery.
-
I am so sorry for your family's loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Me either. My hubby is not happy because he can't go to work right now. Oh well, he will get over it.

I can't hear it. It's been about 7 minutes.
