I've seen to many episodes of fatal attractions on animal planet to feel that there isn't a huge safety issue. I do feel very bad about shooting them though instead capturing and replacing them. I'm angry that there were let out as well.

I've got some emotional investment in the USPS too. Certain things can't do electronic mail like jails. And alot of people get thier medications through them. There is no way UPS and Fedex can compare price wise even if they started day to day mail. It cost to much to stop at every mailbox. I always send my packages USPS because it is cheaper, if someone on amazon is buying a book from me for 2 bucks I'm not spend more then a dollar something to ship it. I think cops have better things to do and to be prepared for on patrol then escorting someone to a hospital. He was doing almost double the speed limit which is dangerous and what if he hit traffic? He had no assurance that he could get to the hospital in the time needed. Call an ambulance if you are that distressed.

I don't have health insurance so I don't have much experience. However, my friend who goes to several doctors usually doesn't get copies of anything. She did recently, but that is because the insurance denied her blood work and they are having to refile. I worked in medical billing for DME companies...and we had alot of patients that didn't keep records. Slowed down the process since we had to wait for doctors to get back to us.

I've had the GSP try to intimidate me into 1) changing my story to fit it the way they saw things and wanted it to be and 2) not going into court. I paid the ticket without going to court but I flat out refused to change my version of events. I finally had to tell the GSP officer that I wasn't going to change it, he had my version so please stop trying to get me to say different. The only other ticket I got years before the accident was an entirely different experience. It was very good experience. But yea, since it was in a school zone I wouldn't expect the fine to change.

It all depends on how the script is written. If the script is written for 3-4 a day then a 100 in a month works. I was very close to someone who was on 2mg xanax 3 times a day. She never asked for it to be raised like that, she just told him that she couldn't sleep because she was in so much pain for her back. I agree that primary doctors won't touch it. A lot of specialists now send their patients to pain clinics instead of treating them themselves. Some of the clinics actually have strict rules, like being able to drug test and count your pills anytime they want.

I watched both episodes...the girl in the dolly parton outfit had blonde hair..I don't think it is the same kid. And the dolly parton thing was supposed to be special because her mom wore it when she was doing the same thing as a kid.

I'd have to agree. Anytime any "crazy" kid goes off and does something I expect them to be white. I guess that could be a whole different discussion topic: Are white teenagers/kids more influenced by video and computer game violence then black kids/teenagers? And yea, unless there is unknown abuse in the background at 14 that kid pretty much has any violent tendencies embedded.

As for phone numbers...unless they have changed it you can only call landlines from jail. No collect calling to cell phones. I've been stranded somewhere without my cellphone and the only number I could remember was my friend's parent's house phone. He didn't even live there anymore, but I called it anyway and asked them to call him and for him to come get me, lol!

I pretty much agree with the others. Junk mail gets thrown away...rest gets put back in the box. Got something from a lawyer once, I opened it and called the lawyer to let them know that we didn't know the woman and that she had never lived at our address. We have had the SO come out to us before looking for a previous resident, we still get all of his collection letters. I know its against the law to open other's mail but I've had some one scream at me in text messages and voicemail to come back to thier store and give them thier money back before I get arrested etc....had no flippin clue who

This is more of a PSA. If any of the posters drive a chevy colbalt and are having issues with the car shutting down check on it immediantly! I don't know if it is specific for year, but there is a recall out on them becuase the entire electrical system shuts off while your driving. There should be some accidents you can google about it, but just wanted people to know in case you did have a chevy cobalt.

I agree with most of you, you have to be on the look out. A few years ago in my juvenile justice class the cobb gang unit came and presented a slide show. I mean it had 10 and 11 year old kids in church groups recruiting other kids and the adults had no clue. On the other hand I know it is hard for the schools to know what is a real threat and what isn't. Our principal in middle school got so frustrated because of the threats of gangs that were going to shoot people just for wearing the wrong color shirt. I bank with them and constantly get frustrated with some of the fees I get stuck with. However, I don't know of another widespread bank that is any better. I don't want to go with a credit union since most of those are local and I still havn't decided where I'm gonna end up...(once I finally land a full time in addition to my 2 part time jobs. One of my client's had a 4ft snake skin laying by thier front porch. I was freaked out for days and I kept seeing these tunnels in the pinestraw. Ugh!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents about it being just a job to some people. My sister worked at a well known day care for years...she was made a teacher of a room. She was 19...and got a 10 cent raise. Yep...she was making 7.10 an hour and got to take all of the extra crap for being named teacher. I had another friend years later work at the same daycare, she was in her twenties and had a degree in theater. No training or certification was required on either before being hired.

For the kid 10 bucks is enough. I think I got 5 when I did that years ago. If you ever go to a professional service it will start at 15-17 dollars per visit.

I have not made it through the entire thread but...I use food stamps currently. It was to a point I could buy food, and not pay other bills or borrow money from mom every month. Or pay all my own bills, not borrow from mom and use food stamps. I work hard, I work alot...however I'm a contractor...everything I use for work I buy and I can drive 200-500 miles in a single weekend. Spring Break I filled up my gas tank every single day. We just pay the extra fee and did it on thier website, but we know it gets taken care of. The bills are now being handled out of state, i've had friends complain that the received thier bill pretty much on the due date. It also looks like there isn't a pay this much by this date or you get disconnected. Now it just leaves your balance and says pay over due balance by due date or face possible disconnection or something along those lines. For the people that always pay thier balance in full...the bill used to look like..your total balance is 200. But the overdue amount that is facing disconnect

GA state trooper might not have to go by it, but dunno 7 years ago I think we had a cobb county cop(he was a classmate) tell us about the 10 mph over thing for cobb. I can't complain...I was actually doing 60 in a 45..he lowered it to 55. Enough for a ticket but no points. First ticket in 4 years at the time...thought I was lucky then, still consider it a lucky/pleasent experience as far as getting a ticket goes.

Good rule for Cobb..unless it is in city limits or a school zone you can go 10 over before getting a ticket. But my one and only speeding ticket was on the EW connecter. Mine was written for 11 over...but I believe it around 100 bucks...no points.
