at the drug store buying some cough drops and in passing by some stranger goes into some long sad story about their arthritis, diabetes and restless leg syndrome. Dude, I mean I don't want to be rude, but everyone I know has some sort of something ailing them, but to ramble on for 15 minutes about life's aches and pains to a complete stranger... just stop it! What the heck is restless leg syndrome anyways? Is he pulling my leg or what?

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/world-bacon-shortage-unavoidable-223157784.html The U.S. will also face a bacon shortage. The Guardian reports that the cost of bacon has doubled since 2006, and record droughts are to blame. Consumption of bacon is falling as prices have been rising. "It's not that people don't want to eat pork, it's just that they increasingly can't afford to," economist Steve Meyer told the publication. "We've been warning about this for years. Now that we are talking about bacon, we've really got everyone's attention."

Packers fans have a severe case of the boo hoos.

I have no respect for any of the scabs, ever. Scabs are lower than scum. -
I won't be voting for Romney.

I have no regard for scabs in general. The NFL is has turned a blind eye even though everyone is outraged at the replacements. The fans, the media, the players all want this madness to stop. I suspect after last night, Roger Goodell will be making some phone calls begging the real refs to come back.

The Falcons looked great. Both the offense and defense have really played well. I'm still sick of all the goof ups by the replacement officials though... those guys are awful and it really takes away from the game.

Eddie... There's a lot I could say, but I'll just consider the source. Back to the rich folks though, To celebrate our wedding anniversary, my wife and I went to a fancy high dollar restaurant in Atlanta. As the parking valet parked our Plymouth, I noticed all around were Mercedes, Lexus, Audi's, etc. When we were seated one of those waiters wearing a tuxedo suggested ostrich as an appetizer. OMG, that stuff tasted like the bottom of our shoe. About eight little green beans were fanned out on my plate and the food tasted awful. Needless to say, I haven't been back and I'd rather eat at the Wa

That's funny... I'd probably want to put his head in the toilet too...lol

Many rich folks are arrogant and think they are above the law. It irks me . They don't walk on water folks and they don't have any more rights than you or I. I can't stand it when a young little punk in a BMW smirks at me... I'd like to snatch him up and put his head in the toilet! Vent over.

PLACES TO EAT IN PCB.....................
Coppertop's Pop replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My brother loves Sharky's for some great seafood, but I prefer a good steakhouse like Angelo's or Black Angus. Have fun in PCB and take your wallet. Some of those places are very expensive.... -

7 Things Christians Need to Remember About Politics
Coppertop's Pop replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I can't tell you how many times folks imply that Christians should never vote Democrat. That's pure hogwash. I am a conservative Christian and a Southern Democrat and I always vote. There are many things I dislike about the democratic platform,(gay marriage, aborting, etc) but overall, I believe they are more in-line with the blue collar working class on most social and economic issues. A lady in my Sunday School class was venting about how awful Obama was. I just listened and smiled, but when I go vote, there's NO way I'd support Romney. -
Glenn Richardson qualified for Senate District 30 today
Coppertop's Pop replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Ok, what about traffic congestion? the state offered up a TSPLOST, and many of the senators and representatives who initially supported it started backing away from it and the TSPLOST was soundly defeated. There really needs to be an outer loop around Atlanta and it must NOT be a TOLL Road!. When the deepening of the port in Savannah is completed in 2014, well have a huge increase in semi trucks on our roads. What is Richardson's plan regarding Transportation? Can we fund that solely through sales taxes? We Don't want TOLL roads! Most folks don't want buses or Marta style mass transit, -
With all the turmoil in the middle-east right now in Libya and Egypt as well as the tensions between Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and Mamood Ahmadejinad of Iran, is the war about to expand all over the middle east? I'm just wondering when this war will be over. Will it ever end?

Why were the police allowed to interview either suspect without an attorney present? The kids obviously weren't on school property when the deputy questioned them. A good attorney may be able to get their confession thrown out since they weren't in school or on school property when they were interrogated. I still don't trust the po-po! I've told my children to NEVER under any circumstances to talk to the police without an attorney present, regardless of what kind of deal they'll claim to make or threats they make, etc. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

The shopping is VERY EXPENSIVE, but there's also a couple of cheap restaurants like Subway, Schlotzsky's & Five Guys Burgers & Fries. It's a lot of fun to walk across to the fishing pier and check out that as well.
