Who is she??? Georgia's Sally Yates fired by Trump as acting AG
Coppertop's Pop replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The media keeps bashing Trump, but somehow he was able to defeat 16 republicans and then win the national presidential election defeating Hillary. He's not the fool the media try to portray him as. He's going to come out on top regardless of what the media says. Obama cared what reporters thought, Trump could care less what reporters think. I'm kinda warming up to the Donald. I don't know why, but if he ruffles a few feathers of the political hacks in D.C, then I'm good with whatever he does. -
News truck across from local high school?

The Board of Education has now got a building on their property which will go into foreclosure...If I were Mr. Brock, I'd bulldoze the half of the building which the bank owns. Then write off the rest as a loss. -
Got Anything "Funky" Happening With Your Car Insurance?
Coppertop's Pop replied to Christopher Robin's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My car insurance was with Farmers Insurance and was set to go up. I called the local agent in Hiram and he said Corporate actuaries have risen all of Georgia's car insurance rates due to higher losses and so forth. I explained I haven't had any tickets or accidents, but he said it was all across Georgia and his hands were tied..... So I left Farmers and went shopping and found a better deal with Auto-Owners Insurance. It was one of Dave Ramsey's endorsed local providers, so I do feel pretty safe about using them now. Bye Bye Farmers Insurance! -
http://www.thepossumdrop.com/ Just wondering if any of you guys have been to The Possum Drop for New Years Eve... I'd much rather drive to Tallapoosa than downtown Atlanta.

It's pretty simple...the best way to avoid getting drunk is to not drink. Same goes for getting high. Sure, you're free to become a drunk and an alcoholic or an addict if you want to, but as for as me and my house, we won't get drunk (we don't drink), we won't get stoned (we don't go puff-puff), we don't hallucinate (we don't use narcotics). If you want to get high, go ahead, but when you do, the lives you affect aren't only your own, you could wind up killing yourself or even others who just happen to be in the wrong place at the right time. I had a family member killed by a 16 year old ki

Here's another article...... MARIJUANA - AMERICA'S MOST DANGEROUS ILLEGAL DRUG By James C. Backstrom Methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin may be America's most addictive and destructive drugs, but marijuana is the most dangerous illegal drug in our nation. The reasons for this conclusion are many. First is that marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drug in America. Almost 2 million persons began using marijuana last year in the United States, and marijuana use starts at a younger age than most other illicit drugs. Early marijuana use is associated with

https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/marijuana-facts-parents-need-to-know/want-to-know-more-some-faqs-about-marijuana Does using marijuana lead to other drug use?Long-term studies of high school students' patterns of drug use show that most young people who use other drugs have first tried marijuana, alcohol, or tobacco. For example, young people who have used marijuana are at greater risk of using cocaine than those who have not. We also know from animal studies that rats given repeated doses of THC show heightened behavioral responses and altered brain activation not only when further exp

Pot is the gateway drug....it leads to other more powerful drugs such as meth, heroin, cocaine, etc.... any way you slice it, drugs are BAD...best way to not get hooked on dope is to say NOPE.... Nope to Dope... it's just that simple. Anyone who tries to say pot is ok or just the garden variety health problem is just trying to kill you.

ONE BAD DECISION IS ALL IT TAKES TO LOSE EVERYTHING.

One great catch made Philip Lutzenkirchen a hero. One bad decision killed him at 23. But the lessons of his tragic death in a drunken driving accident, detailed here for the first time, could save young people's lives for years to come http://thelab.bleacherreport.com/philip-lutzenkirchen-death-drunk-driving-accident/ -
In prison, there's a code among hard core prisoners to where it's an honor to shank a child molester or child killer. If a guy robs a bank or steals a car or sells dope or even knocks off his ex-ol' lady's new boyfriend, it's no big deal, just business as usual, but anyone who harms a child will get their throat cut. Even prisoners can't stand child abuse.

Every town has a few idiots and Paulding County is no different. The bigoted nut Mr. Patrick Lanzo who's place is out Buchanan Hwy, almost into Draketown had a Klan Rally at his place some time ago. Who knows how old these photos are, but nevertheless, it does make ALL of Paulding's citizens look bad. http://www.gapeachbar.com/founder.html http://www.gapeachbar.com/signs.html

I agree...we don't need more thrift stores....along with that we need fewer "buy here - pay here" junky used car lots, check cashing stores, pawn shops and Title Pawns, tattoo parlors, etc. Merchants Drive is starting lo look like Hollowell Parkway. Vacant Buildings, folks walking back and forth to the liquor stores 7 days a week, homeless folks wandering around holding signs up needing food (aka... money for booze and cigarettes). Businesses that won't keep the grass cut and buildings painted who store all manner of junk and trash on the lot. For goodness sakes, don't complain to the Marsha

Last night Benjamin Watson gave a full-fledged response and opinion on the matter on Facebook. I will not have the option to kneel this Sunday while the National Anthem is being played. A week ago, in what would prove to be my last pre-game opportunity of this 2016 season, I stood with my right hand over my heart as the anthem played. And if I am fortunate enough to ever be dressed for another game day I imagine I would be doing the same thing I did in my last. Standing. Not because America is ALL I desire it to be because most assuredly it is not. Racism still stews, familie

We bought a Ram truck from the dealer in Carrollton. The guys at the Dodge / Ram dealer in Paulding were way overpriced and pushy. I will NEVER EVER buy anything from Hardy's. They burned me once, never again.
