Because they know if they don't...something will have to be done. They would rather pay a portion of the tax on what they consume rather than ALL of it in property taxes or a sales tax increase... period. For what you pay in property taxes you sure do get alot for your money in Cobb. Parks, aquatic centers...and others.. Look at what we pay here in paulding and what do we got to show for it? We are busy spending ours to pay for Surepip's lawsuit.

Cobb.. I know of several projects that got shelved because the SPLOST dollars wasn't what was projected. People just wasn't spending. I really do only shop in Cobb. Publix in PS!! I even have a Publix 1 block from my house...but the one in PS is on the way.
