I think it's one thing if it's once or twice a year...but if it's held regularly then it's a business and the land and everything involved in it should be held to the same standards as other businesses. They charge $15 a person. 10 and under is free. Plus the entry fee for each class. I'm not against it. I think it's cool...but it needs to be declared a business and or hold a commercial license. Pay property taxes on a commercial plot of land...yadda.

I wasn't being rude and CopsChick knew that. I'm really sorry that you read that as being rude. Its 5 furlough days. Some people are taking 2 a month in different counties and in the private sector. People are barely hanging on to their houses in these counties. People are losing their houses still... You can't keep spending the same amount of money for services if the money isn't there. How many furlough dayds did the teachers have to take? How many teachers lost jobs?

Flossy... I know of one guy in my class who just got out of the Navy and already finshed the testing and background...and he is hired. This I know for a fact.

Yep .... I have 2 or 3 in my CRJ classes that have interviewed.

No harm here I'm just saying that people in every other job is taking pay cuts and furloughs. I'm not the only one on here that in the same boat. Cobb PD is still hiring. I know several who have applied and interviewed with them. I do think Police/Fire are the important in the county. I do think they should be looking into cutting the libraries and other stuff as well. I wonder what the foot traffic is in libraries now? Heck I think almost everyone has computers now.

I've been on part-time now for a year. There aren't any jobs in engineering right now. I still have to pay the same for insurance as I did when I was FT. I didn't get the luxury to be on 1 furlough day a month. So...no sympathy from me. I remember someone on here telling me it's not the government’s job to provide me with a job.....

There is a place on 61 south of Ridge road...Past the Georgian...across the street from the cemetary. It's a storage building and they store them there.

Well at least she isn't on Teen Mom 2. They get paid to be unwed mothers also. She has to make money to raise her son. PERIOD. Plenty of single moms on here will tell you that they would be doing the same exact thing. She isn't drawing welfare, food stamps and standing in every government line trying to get a hand out. (I'm not saying some people don't need them)
