DH wanted to go there recently on his day off and I told him I read on p.com it was closed. We are losing all the small-town independently owned restaurants. Nothing left but the franchise places. THANK GOODNESS we still have Rodney's!!

Bank of America already has ATM's similar. I'm not sure about selling stamps but you don't put the deposit in an envelope nor use a deposit slip. We don't use the bank but DD was telling me it reads the bills and automatically applies the cash deposit to your account. They did a segment on the 11:00 news last night showing how BOA ATM gives you a receipt with a copy of the check deposited. Machines are getting entirely TOOOOOOOO smart!!!!

We always to for an early dinner at Whitlock's (formerly Chicago's) on Whitlock Ave. with close friends on New Years Eve. We go EARLY so we can get in and out without a long wait and get home before the drunks hit the road. Then we are supposed to leave New Years Day going to Orlando to spend the week-end with DS. We may postpone that trip and if we do, we'll stay home and watch football all week-end.

That is great news. I am sure he isn't happy about losing his independence for awhile but hopefully he will be able to return home soon.
