I think we all remember that 16 year olds often push the boundaries somewhat. I pushed them a lot! (I know, hard to believe that from a perfect angle like me ) But parents don't have to condone it or take the boundaries away.

If none of her friends will show up unless alcohol is there, she's hanging with the wrong crowd. A parent absolutely does not have to allow their child to participate in an act that is illegal for 16 year olds. Besides, the parents would be exposing themselves to potential criminal charges by giving alcohol to minors. Parents need to remember that they are the ones in-charge, not the kids. Kids need boundaries, and it's the parent's responsibility to set and enforce them. If they don't, they have failed their kids. Unfortunately, this has become all too common. Yeah, I'd be very conc

Am I the only one that sees some serious hypocrisy in this?

I would consider voting for them. I am not married to either party. I usually vote Republican because the are usually closer to my beliefs than Dems; but I haven't been very happy with them in the last few years either. I have voted for conservative Democrats, though they are all but extinct now. Ultimately, I vote for the candidate that most closely matches my beliefs. The only exception to that would be if that candidate can't possibly win, and voting for them could put the less desirable candidate in office.

We just got back yesterday, everything was gorgeous. My guess would be that it'll be fine, the oil seems to be moving more westward.

1- That would put the tenant in default of the lease; and the landlord could evict them. 2 - It would make the landlord's financial situation even worse and probably accelerate the foreclosure. Probably not a bad idea to find another house to rent. You should be able to get some deals now.
