It's open?? Yay!! Any grand opening special?

Wishing you luck! I know how it is - I lost my job the end of December. Good luck!

If you have a Sam's Club membership, passport photos are only $4.96 there.

We just saw an ad for it too. Hubby is very excited. He loved Dallas. ;-)

I noticed the sign down yesterday when headed to your place. Must have happened Friday night. Not sure what happened though.

Did you donate a tuxedo to the "Good" store in Hiram?

That's fantastic! Hope your son enjoys college! -
Seems to be pretty widespread. I'm off Hiram Sudie. I just called Greystone to report the outage and there was no automated response about it, so I'm not sure what's going on. A friend over on Butler Industrial doesn't have power either. It's getting hot already!

There is no such period in the Landlord Tenant laws in Georgia. Once the lease is signed, that person is legally bound to the terms of the contract. The landlord may impose a termination fee if there is one in the lease agreement. Did you get a copy of what was signed?

Ms. Jessie update - for those who wish to know

Poor Ms Jessie! Prayers that she heals quickly and fully. -
I was just there with a group of teens for a few days last week. We would highly recommend Seacrest Wolf Preserve. It was awesome! It's in Chipley - took us about 40 minutes to drive there from PCB. Call and make reservations. They have tours on Saturday evenings. They talk a bit about wolves, then you go into the enclosures with the wolves. Some of them are very friendly and will come right up to you. After about 1.5 hours touring and learning about the wolves, you can do the small animal adventure. That's where you can hold a skunk (de-scented), pet a fox and coyote pup, and fe

I'm taking 5 teens next weekend. Any good places that are fairly inexpensive for dinner?

I just made a quick and easy dinner last night with some of my fresh zucchini... cut up 2 raw chicken breasts into bit size pieces. in skillet, put about 1 Tbsp oil and the chicken bits. cook until done. add about 2 cups sauce (I used bbq last night) and cubed zucchini heat over low-medium temp for about 10 minutes, so it's heated but the zucchini is still a bit crunchy serve over rice I also like zucchini bread. zucchini "boats" are good too - carve out a little of the middle fill with a mixture of cream cheese, cheddar cheese and parm cheese (my daughter also

Just giving a shout out to Steven. The compressor in hubby's van died, and Steven got it fix (and some nearly bad belts) for about 2/3 of what others wanted to charge. Thanks Steven!

Very sweet! Happy birthday Brittney!

When do you need it by? I made one (easy) for my daughter a few years ago, but she has it at college with her. It's pink with a black poodle on it.

That's awesome! Thanks! I'm actually working in Marietta right now, so that is perfect.

Anyone know of a local place to get a Sony digital camera repaired? My daughter accidently knocked hers off the table and the back screen cracked (on the inside) so the view area doesn't work now. The camera is only a few months old, so I'd rather repair than buy new unless it's really expensive to repair. We paid about $160 for the camera. Thanks!

I was going camping too, but have postponed to tomorrow morning. Looks like it'll be a doozy.

Here we go again; more severe weather Friday night?
cebackus replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm taking a group camping this weekend. Suppose to leave Friday after school, but we'll be watching this weather system to see if we need to wait until Saturday morning to leave. -

We always go that way, and plan an extra hour so we can take our time and check out the scenery. It's a pretty drive with a number of photo opportunity locations. Enjoy your trip! -
Ladies - how many pairs of shoes do you own?
cebackus replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Oh my goodness, that's a lot of shoes! I think I have maybe 10 pair. Let's see- black heels, brown flats, black boots, tennis shoes, slippers, riding boots, sandels, "muck" boots... that's 8, so that gives me 2 pair unaccounted for. I can't image having 100! Where do you store them all?? You only have 2 feet, right? LOL! -
I lived there for 8 years, before moving here in 2002. It is a beautiful part of the country, and I really miss it. My drive home (Seattle to Puyallup - 30 minutes from McCord) was towards Mount Rainier, and it was a beautiful view "when the mountain was out". The summers are perfect (80s), and you don't get snowed in all winter (30s). When it rains, it's usually just a drizzly rain, not like the storms were get here. I went through 3 "large" earthquakes (4.8, 5.4, 7.8 ) in those 8 years. I still have friends there, but have not had a chance to go back and visit. There is so much to do

With that style of earring, I'd go with the screw backs so it doesn't change the appearance.

What a great opportunity for these teens! Good luck! I'm sure they'll have a lot of fun and enjoy the sights!
