A tip from a friend of mine that is published... Make a digital copy (cd or jumpdrive) and a printed copy. Seal in an envelop and mail it to yourself certified. Don't open it! This can help you prove it is yours and when you completed it.

Very funny Zwier!! I just edited the post and was able to get the photo uploaded. Yay! Now maybe someone will know. Thanks!

Anyone know? (First time loading a photo, so hope it works.)

I've used them for almost 3 years. Love it. I put a movie in the mail, and will get a new one 2 days later. You don't pay any postage. I love the ability to watch online (or through an iPhone app if you can watch a movie on a 4 inch screen), so when I'm out of town (travel for work) I can still watch movies. They also have tv series (hubby and I just watched the last season of Heroes this weekend). You can get 1, 2 or 3 movies at a time. For example, if you get 3 you can rotate them but you don't have to turn them all in at the same time. Once they receive one back from you they will s

I am pretty sure that Early Voting is just done in the elections office during regular hours for about a month prior to election date. Advance Voting has extended hours and there are a couple places you can go, and is just the week before regular election date. I don't think you have to give any reason for voting early, like you do with Absentee Ballot.

Mine was my "Mr Moosehead". It was a Bullwinkle scooter. Loved that thing. Just found a photo of one online. Thanks for the memory!

I think that is fantastic. As a scout leader, I know how expensive scout camping gear can be, let alone the trailer. I hope they buy a trailer hitch lock.

My daughter is type 1 diabetic (13 years) and has been using an Animas pump for quite a while. She upgraded to the Animas Ping pump a few years ago, which is the one that has the glucose meter that "talks" to the pump. She really likes it. What type of pump questions do you have? I'd be happy to answer or pass along her answers to you.

My hubby and both kids had it at the same time. That was bad enough. Can't imagine taking care of 12 with it. Hope they get well soon.

Kid convicted of sexual battery allowed in school?
cebackus replied to cebackus's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Sorry, I was away from the computer for a while. Here's what I know. This kid was convicted 9/4/08, registered 11/13/08, year of birth 1993, residence verified 4/26/10. So, he's probably 17 years old and this happened when he was 15. It could have been a misunderstanding or something serious, no telling. I don't want to start or continue any rumors. Just looking for some guidance. Thanks! -
Kid convicted of sexual battery allowed in school?
cebackus replied to cebackus's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A friend told my daughter. He is listed on GBI sexual offender registry- public record. It doesn't list detail, just what the conviction was. -
I just found out that a boy that was convicted of "sexual battery of a minor" attends my daughter's school. Conviction was almost 2 years ago. My daghter sees this boy in the halls . I didn't think people convicted of this type of crime were allowed around kids. Is it different since he is a minor? Parents of kids at the school don't have to be notified?

It's raining by PCHS too. Roads will still be wet in the morning, so tell him to be super careful!

I went today (member preview) with my family. I was actually pretty impressed with the amount of art they had for this exhibit, as well as information about Dali. It is focused on his late work, so don't expect to see a lot of his surrealism. Most of it is what he called "nuclear mysticism", as he got back to his catholic roots and blended with his interest in nuclear. We spent about 2 hours in the Dali section. We enjoyed it, as well as the discussions it sparked with our teenagers.

You all had me scared to open my bill when I got it from Greystone today. Last month was $259. We have a pool and house is about 2500 sq feet. We keep the upstairs at 78. The downstairs ac was broken and was fixed a few weeks ago, so I figured our bill would be over $300. Thank goodness it was "only" $270.

My family is going tomorrow for a member preview. Looking forward to it.

My pool is being used too! It's too hot NOT to use it!!

I didn't have power for 24 hours (exactly!). I know there were a lot of outages caused by the storms last night. Thank you to all the linemen (and their families) that were hard at work to restore everyone's power. I know the job isn't done yet, but I want you to know you are appreciated!!

I just called Greystone again. Since our house sits about 300 feet off the road, they may have thought power was restored to everyone in our area once they fixed the downed line at 5:00 this morning. They put in an updated ticket for me. On a side note, I'd like to say their customer service has been great. They have been super nice all 3 times I have called. I'd also like to commend all the linemen that have been working since last night to get everyone's power restored. Thanks!

We lost power at 7:30 last night during the storm.

We lost power around 7:15 last night. I was looking out the window and saw a huge orange flash From the power box on thepille behind our house (that brings it to our house). Called Greystone at 7:30p. There was a tree that took down the line on the road in front of us. Greystone was out working on the line by 8:00p. Neighbors in front of us now have power as of 5am, but we don't yet. I called Greystone again, and they said they are still workin in the area. Hopefully we'll get power back soon.

You may have to right click on the taskbar and unlock it first. Then you should be able to click on it an hold your mouse down while you drag it back to the bottom. Then right click and lock it again.

She goes to PCHS. Got it in today's mail.

Got my daughter's. She did great - all A's and B's. Yay!! Questions.... there are 3 grades: Semester Grade, EOCT/Exam Grade, Course Final Avg which one is the recorded grade for the semester- Semester Grade or Course Final Avg? Why didn't they mark whether promoted to, placed in or retained in? and the next grade? I know she's going to the next grade because of her great grades, but I'm sure some kids might be borderline and the parents would need to know. Also, why do they no longer put the GPA or the class rank? (high school) I know, I know....I'll call and
