That's the part that confuses me. Each year it seems to be a different weed than the year before. Where the heck does this many different weed seeds come from? I'm wondering if I'm importing weeds with the Pine Straw I put on the islands each year. Cold took our a couple of big patches of the little bit of good grass I had, but most of it seems to be coming back. Getting the hose sprayer and the Lawn Weed killer for Southern Lawns ready for the next break in the rain pattern. Maybe I can kill back enough of the weeds to give the grass a chance..

When I was younger, my dad was retired and offered to sell my truck for me since he had time. Just watch it when you install Chrome and when it updates. I got ticked off and deleted it after it auto checked adding a bunch of programs to it's own update installer. If I could figure out how to get stuff without flash I'd delete it too. Every time there is an update it tries to con me into installing some web checker thingie. If I wanted an add on, I'd go get it myself thank you.

The only good service I've ever gotten from Comcast was going to the local office in Dallas and asking a live person. Their website sucks and the phone service is worse. The office there gave me several lower cost options that the website didn't mention.

We put in a 27'x52" (48" of water) deep circular above ground a few years after we moved in. I built the deck on one side of it over a couple of month period, so can't say what it would cost to have someone else do it. We found it to be plenty of pool and plenty deep to relax in. I will recommend that you look at the design of the deck and make SURE that it is easily removable around the edge of the pool! E4 of the Southwest Florida Eagle Nest has already taken flight. 8 days of practice and he's already got the Majestic Soar down pat. I looked back at some of the pictures right after fuzzbutt was hatched, I can't believe how fast she's grown!

I bought some of the tomato and pepper plants the depot had on sale this weekend, but they are in my basement by a window until this last freeze passes.

The parents have to feed themselves too, that's a lot of food. I imagine with all B3 has eaten in the last 4 weeks, the easy pickings right around the nest area are gone. The Coot/treerat populations have to be highly reduced and staying under cover. On another note, I hope B3 doesn't try her Wingersizing in this wind, she might end up leaving the nest earlier than she wants!
