So if the above is true, how does he explain theft, murder, terrorism, etc. I would consider them great moral challenges yet it seems that the "human beings" on this planet have imagined much different outcomes... What a bunch of BS. "I speak, therefore the world is as I say...." Idiot pie in the sky dreamer. If he actually believed it, he'd bicycle to his speaking engagements, not fly that giant private jet of his.

Having been burned by two rebuilt transmissions to the tune of $6000, I only go factory bebuilt now. Yea, it's expensive, but the chevy transmissions have a 3 years 100K mile warranty on them and you can be pretty sure chevy will still be there. When the second transmission went out above I found the guy had closed up and run with the money...

Might be a drive for you, but Pacific Spice at US41 and Cedarcrest (Acworth address, just over the Paulding line) is pretty good. One of the two Chinese places I've gone back to.

Chicken Feet... Chicken Claws... I NEED SOME!
The Sound Guy replied to Caped Crusader's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I've heard of people buying chicken heads*, but not chicken feet. * For chicken noodle soup of course! -
My driveway guy brought in some sand/gravel pre-mix to fill a sinkhole under my drive before he re-poured it. Not sure if you could find gravel/dirt anywhere.

Hey, we had a position like that at Nortel before it went bankrupt, here is the ad they used for hiring:

Of Course!! That would solve most of the issues that are being raised about the airport. Phase I would be a link from the Airport to the Government Center in Dallas, where we put the Rental Car Center in the empty floors of that overbuilt building, then put a parking deck over the back parking lot for the car storage. This removes much of the traffic in west paulding that the anti commercial people are worried about when the 747s come in. Phase II would be a link to Hiram for shopping, hotels and food for all the passengers. Stations could be placed at each of the major shopping centers

I don't know, but there is a post from 2007 asking the same thing saying they had a family illness. http://paulding.com/forum/topic/132809-anyone-use-ets-sanitation/ I had the same thing happen in Cobb county. The smaller family operations have no backup when they have deaths or illness, so they get behind.

Maybe they can put in bus service from the airport...

You gotta call it by it's full name: Fred Lobster...

Yea, been real busy but try to check in on them every so often. Ma and Pa are having lots of younger eagle around the nest issues this year, chased off another set not long ago... Mom's letting them have some sunshine today:

Often, but not always. The big jets can handle an amazing amount of crosswind. Hartsfield has 5 runways, but they are all East/West because the typical wind here usually has an East/West direction. I forget the exact amount, but it takes like 40 mph winds out of the North or South to shut it down due to wind. Google "crosswind landings" youtube and you'll see a bunch of video of them, some of which must have required a special cockpit cleaning afterwards!! I was in the back of a plane coming into St Louis many years ago with a crosswind. It felt like the tail was jumping 40 ft

Shoot, Whitey should remember that the School Board had a lawyer at every town hall meeting for the big bond referendum and whoever was talking would look at them before answering every question to make sure they didn't promise anything that was legally binding or give any answers with actual facts in them. These people take CYA to the max. -
The real primary is may 24th. This election is presidential only where we pay a bazillion dollars for a special election just so we can say that we voted with the rest of SEC states and "made a difference". I guess they figure by May 24th, the race will be over.

Sigh. I've been out of town and will be out next week as well. Friday is my only chance to vote and I have no idea who I'm going to vote for. I have a lot of studying to do...

Somehow, I don't see Trump raising taxes on the very rich. If he was interested in giving his money away, he'd already done it. Get ready for tax hikes on the middle and lower class

Who do you have Internet service with?
The Sound Guy replied to SushiBoofay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Same here. Since it uses dual DSL lines into the house, you can get the higher speed. Also, I think that not using TV is important as I think they send the video over the same data channels, so if you are watching TV, your download speed may drop. Not sure of that however. I'm pretty close to the AT&T box (1/4 mile) and I get 22 mbs down from my 18 mbs service. -

Uverse was definitely an upgrade from DSL. Have phone and Internet with UVERSE, TV with Comcast. I like the control of the phone options via the UVERSE internet site. (blocking numbers, call forwarding, etc) Only complaints I have are: 1) The upload speed is silly slow, 2 mbs with 18 mbs download speed. Comcast has much more balanced service 2) The AT&T pipes to the internet seem to be undersized and overworked. Sometimes I'll find that several sites won't work well, slow or failing, while other sites work fine. That indicates to me that the pipe from our area to the backbone -
