  1. Does anyone really want to see the stripper step on her boobs?
  2. He suffered from mental illness and had stopped taking his medication. It's sad when someone is in that much pain, the only option they see is killing themselves.

    IRS Joke

My wife sent me this and I thought it was funny At the end of the tax year, the IRS office sent an inspector to audit the books of a local hospital. While the IRS agent was checking the books he turned to the CFO of the Hospital and said, "I notice you buy a lot of bandages. What do you do with the end of the roll when there's too little left to be of any use?" "Good question," noted the CFO. "We save them up and send them back to the bandage company and every now and then they send us a free box of bandages." "Oh," replied the auditor, somewhat disappointed that his unusual qu

    GM Boss -

I don't think this is an outrageous salary for a CEO of such a large corporation.
  7. Dekalb tire has reasonable prices, although you may have to drive a bit to find one.
  8. I spent yesterday afternoon at a faculty meeting for documenting interventions used for failing students. This has nothing to do with helping kids and everything to do with CYA. The amount of documentation required for teachers now is mind numbing and less and less time is spent planning decent lessons.
  9. Teachers are being made the scapegoat for the societal problems contributing to poor test scores. Teacher merit pay sounds like a wonderful idea on its face but many factors are beyond our control. I cannot control whether or not a child does their homework, or chooses to study when they get home. Before I give a test in my class, I give a review sheet several days in advance, let the kids work on it in class, help with any questions they have, and try to reteach information they may have missed, and go over the review sheet the day prior to the test. In addition, I give the students an extra
  10. I'm from the North and if it's icy enough, even the best driver will have problems. January 30, 1999, I was driving to the Poconos for my honeymoon, driving through the mountains and the precipitation started as rain. However, it began to turn to sleet and I noticed the roads getting slippery. I was driving downhill and slowed down accordingly, when my wife saw the sign for our resort, two miles away. Immediately after, my car began to spin uncontrollably and did several 360's down the side of the mountain. Luckily we were fine, but the car sustained 5,000.00 worth of damage. I knew the roads
  11. Doug Fieger Lead singer of The Knack died today. http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/2/14/837093/-My-My-My-Sharona...-The-Knacks-Doug-Fieger-Passes
  12. Agreed. It's crap masquerading as Italian food
  13. I'm very proud of my furchildren.
  14. Growing up on Long Island (NY), one of my first jobs in high school was working in a department store as a cleaner in the evening. When I would clock out and go home, the parking lot was empty. The first thing I would do when I got into my 1971 Delta 88 was to start doing donuts in the parking lot. It was a lot of fun, but it also taught me how to drive in the snow and correct a skid. Did I mention it was a lot of fun.
  15. Here are some pictures of my dogs I took during the storm.
  16. Get rid of the damn auto tune on everyone's voice.
  17. LATEST INDICATIONS ARE THAT SOME AREAS ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA COULD SEE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN THE 1 TO 2 INCH RANGE... MAINLY FROM A CEDARTOWN TO GAINESVILLE LINE NORTHWARD... BEFORE THE SNOW TAPERS OFF TO FLURRIES MONDAY AFTERNOON. THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY... AND SMALL ADJUSTMENTS IN THE STORM TRACK MAY MAKE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE POTENTIAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS. Damn, I guess I'll have to buy a snow shovel.
  18. Working in a metro Atlanta school district, my school was often without a school security officer or one that worked part time, or sharing duties between 2 schools. It is a recipe for disaster. I'm assuming these security guards are 8.00 per hour rent-a-cops who don't want to deal with being injured or face legal liability if they injure a student.
  19. Just the way our political leaders are committed to the best interests of our citizens. From what I understand the woman's mother was to take care of her child then backed out. I don't think the father was in the picture. So what should she do? Put her child in foster care? Would you really want a soldier serving who was in that situation? Maybe she hadn't intended to serve but unless you know for sure, do you really think you could leave your child behind with no one to care for it?
  20. I wish you the best of luck and I'm sorry you have to go through both these things at the same time.
