I heard something on Bill Maher last night about the cost of fuel. Although our gasoline is relatively cheap in comparison to the rest of the world there are many hidden costs. The money spent on our military presence in the Middle East for one as well as the cost to our environment. Will offshore drilling really address our energy needs or delay the inevitable need to come up with alternatives.
