We are fine, just exhausted. Thank God for my Son, Daughter, grand kids, and that wonderful Son-in-law of mine. They have been shoulder to shoulder with us cleaning the mess up. Our neighbors are doing what they can to help each other and Hubby is using his tractor to scoop up stuff and put it in roll offs. We are the lucky ones! We have neighbors who have as much damage as your Mom. Thanks to all the P.commers who have offered help.

We had 18 inches to 2 feet of water in the basement and it will take weeks to fix everything. We lost a lot of things I would never have parted with. I know what you mean. I feel so sad for some of my neighbors. It will take months if not longer to get their homes back. I am so sorry 1novella. Prayers said for your Mom.

I agree with you!! Very good advice.

We are surviving and so much better off than some of our neighbors.I feel so sad for everyone who was touched by this. We had a lot of help yesterday with clean up. Still a ton of work to do. The Paulding County Sheriff's Officers were amazing and so was the Fire Department. Thank god for all of them and the great job they do.
