The trouble here is that folks have a different view of what is appropriate and what isn't. That is why I don't visit the Tonk. I can tell you as a paying member I would be more than a little upset to find that I had been made invisible because of a news Topic or Article that I had posted in the political forum. One that did not break any pcom rules but was not popular with (?) number of people. How many would it take to make your Topic or post invisible?

I don't often agree with you but this is a good post. I think freedom of speech on this board could cease and political correctness could rear it's ugly head. Paying members might just stop visiting if they were made invisible simply because others disagreed with them.

I am in total agreement with you. I have loved pcom but I am a NewsJunky. The very nature of the news is often upsetting and most of my posts center around it. I guess I will end up toast!

I believe that! I was reading pcom the night of the flood and because of posts on here I knew to check my yard and basement. Yep, pcom told me my house had water in the basement. Can't beat a news source like that!

I think you are right. There was quite a crowd that day and it was my first lunch and I was pretty nervous about it. I will have to make a point of saying hello at the next event we both attend.

I can't vote in your poll because you don't have ,"It doesn't bother me", or "I don't care one way or the other", as choices. If someone wants to have wee little ones in their signature it does not bother me at all. Usually our signatures say something about us and that is as it should be.

He sounds like an absolute treasure! You should write a book about Dis Jr's adventures complete with pictures.
