I am surprised to find that I know some of the folks posting here. I met some of them at the Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday. I liked them on this board and found that I have liked them for a long time in person. Pleasant surprise. There are some that I have become friends with, and I think they are great folks, one of them being the OP. There are some that I could be friendly with, but I know that I would never BE good friends with them.

They do have forged documents in huge numbers. They also take jobs that is this economy need and should go to Americans. Especially in the building industry. With the shortage in tax revenues we should not be footing the bill for their education or medical bills. They really do need to go back to their home countries. They are not just from Mexico.

Actually in some California schools the teachers teach more in Spanish than in English and the English speaking children have trouble understanding the lessons. Some hospitals in the border states are having to close because they get no payment from illegals but are required to treat them. They are overwhelmed. In parts of Texas they cross the border, go to the American hospitals to have their babies, then go back to Mexico and their Children CAN and DO get assistance from our system.
