Kind of. A mom from this group was caught on camera, in a parking lot, a couple of years ago beating her child because she did not do well at stealing in the store. Been awhile but I think that was the story. Here is a quick link that gives some info on them. I am sure there are better ones. http://www.fraudtech.bizland.com/travelers.htm Link to story about the child being beaten. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=125735&page=1

Lady tried that with me in the Mall parking lot. Her car was late model and I sensed all was not as she said. I offered to call the sheriff to send someone out to help her get a little gas and she almost ran to get out of there. The group called the Travelers do this type of thing. I don't think she wanted my kind of help.

You are welcome. I was actually surprised that there was not more interest in this bit of news. The Georgia Supreme Court is so very important to the residents of Georgia. -

This is an important position and I have heard nothing but good things about this new Judge of ours. I am very happy about this choice. -

He is Judge David Nahmias. He once clerked for US Supreme Court Justice Scalia and he was a US Attorney. I think Sonny picked a good one. David Nahmias (NAH-me-us) grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended Briarcliff High School and was the state’s STAR student. He attended Duke University, where he graduated second in his class and summa cum laude, and Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude and was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He then clerked for Judge Laurence H. Silberman of the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Columbia and for Justice Antonin Scali

Yep, that's my opinion too.

Well I know I haven't been a jarhead with Bobby Jo but I can't think of anything that I have done today that was really good. I did take some stuff by Helping Hands yesterday. Does that count?
-
I want one but you may consider me one of those Jarheads!

Wonder if this could be a case of identity theft? I would notify my insurance company and let them make sure there really are two people with the same name or if someone could be using your name.

Grieving father finds 'dead' baby son ALIVE in coffin
NewsJunky replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I am with you. This is so sad! -
It is a miracle that this little guy is alive. It is a miracle that his father opened the coffin and discovered that his tiny, 17.6 oz son, was breathing. A premature baby declared dead by doctors was found to be alive hours later when he was taken home for a funeral wake. The baby's father, Jose Alvarenga, was told by doctors that his son had died shortly after birth. Staff from the state-run hospital in Asuncion, the Paraguayan capital, delivered the infant's body to Mr Alvarenga's home fours hours later. Shortly afterwards, the grieving father opened the baby's coffin to bi
