    the tv is usually on all weekend as background noise. either home improvement shows or sports. (college football or nascar)doesn't detract too much from chores or cooking.

    he had a long talk with my dad before we moved in together. which was a year after we started "dating". i was proud of both of them for understanding the importance (to me) of that man-to-man talk.

    we're cooking our turkey in a trash can. a sense of impending doom has already settled down upon me. however, i am going to have 7, yes 7 pies for dessert. if anyone wants to come by for a plate of sweets, gimme a holler!!!! (and sneak me a piece or two of edible bird, k?)

    i briefly contemplated getting a room there thanksgiving night, to serve as a planning/staging/rallying point for me and my girlfriends on black friday. i think we'll just drive the 5 miles to hiram, no chance of us being trapped in my own driveway!!!

    if you park a car crossways to block your driveway because you don't want to deal with movie theatre patrons parking in your lot, be sure to take into account the fact that your own patrons (and future patrons) cannot get into/out of your parking lot. that is all.
