Buy some refrigerated cookie dough, bake and dip half in melted chocolate. There was a bbq place in my hometown that was famous for their chocolate chip dipped cookies. You could also buy some of those thick pretzel sticks and dip them in white, dark chocolate and then roll in sprinkles, mini chips, etc.

Congrats on the interview; they are hard to come by these days. It sounds like you have a good shot at it. -
Walmart Medical Breakthrough One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Bob says to Mike behind him, 'My elbow hurts like the dickens!! I guess I'd better see a doctor.' 'Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money,' Mike replies. 'There's a diagnostic computer down at Wal-Mart . Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs $10 - A lot cheaper than a doctor.' So, Bob deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Wal-Mart. He deposits $10, and the computer lights

My grandmother absolutely loved Elvis Presley. Every year at Christmas she always played Elvis singing Christmas songs on her record player. My grandmother died a few years ago after a long battle with dementia. When we cleaned her house out, I got all her records. We play those Elvis Christmas records every year. It's really not the holidays without Elvis playing in the background.

This is the 2nd suicide in a little over a week and half I've heard of people I've known/met. So tragic.

Russian Meat Pies are made with ground beef, onions and parsely. Season ground beef with worcestershire sauce and white vinegar. Spoon ground beef mixture onto 1 /2 of puff pastry sheet and fold over. Use fork to crimp edges to make a pie. These can be made in advance and frozen.

I am not suprised by this kind of violence in the Atlanta area. Its part of the reason we don't get out much. Atlanta has lived up to its nickname in our household- the cesspool...

Mystery Co to bring 430 jobs to Douglas County
winston1972 replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm amazed that a company would consider locating from NC to Atlanta. In the recent past, Atlanta has lost relo bids to 2nd tier cities in the Carolinas and VA citing quality of life, traffic, etc. Hopefully some Paulding folks can snag some of these jobs. -
When the extra money her husband had had coming in each month ended her Neiman shopping habit I guess this became her new "hobby".

I really think in his heart he knows but it would also destroy him due to his issues with depression. I asked my mother when she told me about the affair if she was planning on leaving him and she said she couldn't do that to him but in being in the house last month with them the relationship is emotionally dead on his end too.

This is her 4th marriage and the last two were horrible. Mike is really a good guy but he does have some issues like being OCDC about the house being clean, nothing can be out of place and he suffers from depression. The depression has been somewhat of an issue in the past couple of years as he has gotten to where he takes his medication sproradically. He apparently has lost interest in sex but does like to look at internet sites from what my mother has told me. My mother is on disability and has not worked in a long time. He makes a six figure salary so I think that is the answer.

I'm well past the shame, embarassed mark to the I'm shaking my head and laughing at the idiocy of some of my family members. Oh the stories I could share. If someone starts a relevant thread, I'm sure I will.

That's a pretty good lie she came up with. She's a piece of work though complaining about him getting an itemized bill and making him feel like he had done something wrong. She's staying close to the house this week but she'll be back to her ways soon. I had gone to visit my mom not too long ago and she had the audacity to run over to her boyfriends and spend the afternoon and stay past the point that her husband returned from work on their anniversary. Part of me really wants to see her get busted.

My mom had called me this morning before I read this post saying that her husband had downloaded her cellphone records and found her boyfriend's number and had had his sister call the number. The boyfriend kept his number when he moved down from North Carolina so the number stuck out. My mother freaked out and called her friend who is married and also has a boyfriend. Her friend came up with some good stories to explain the number. My mother came up with her own story that she had paid her attorney to locate a long lost half brother and that was who it was. My mother came up with some sob sto

I was about to add that there are some great Black Friday sales online too. I've done a lot of my shopping on line the last couple of years. I would not even consider stepping foot in a mall in this state the day after Thanksgiving! I don't like most of the malls here so I do most of my shopping online or when I go home.

I've got a friend with two kids at South Paulding High and she was lamenting the other day about how bad things are getting down there with fights and rowdy behavior in classrooms. Her youngest child is in private school in part due to things like this and is glad her kids are almost out.

Marietta Gets State Stimulus Funds to Bring Business
winston1972 replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It was well known in certain circles that Jerry and crew were dedicating all their energy to the pipe dream around the airport and had basically written off the rest of the county (their words not mine). At one point, the IBA had obtained a consultant to put together an incentives package to attract businesses to Paulding County but to my knowledge the incentives package was never brought before the BOC for approval. -
Maybe an employee got them. Seen it happen before.

Well worth the drive and the price. You will need reservations.

What are your kids or spouses wanting for xmas this year?

There is not a huge markup on appliances and a Sears salesperson told me that their best sale each year on appliances is the day after Thanksgiving. We bought new appliances one year that day after Thanksgiving after having looked at them beforehand and we saved a good bit of money. Just don't do like we did and buy a garbage disposal that you have to carry while hiking 1/2 mile back to your car.
