Level 6 - The City of Dis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and

I was at Target and I think this is the guy that checked me out. How funny! -
I am glad Glenn is getting the help that he needs to deal with his illness and I wish that it had not escalated to the point it did. While I disagree with his some of his actions both personally and politically I hope he is re-elected. Although I am not a fan of the airport, he was instrumental in getting funding for the terminal building. If the airport is to have any shot at all at suceeding the terminal had to be built in a timely manner after the opening of the runway. It goes without saying that having a local politician as the Speaker is an advantage to Paulding County residents. I h

LOL!! Some folks were about ready to walk out over taped music back in the late 1980's at the Presbyterian church I went to back home.. My violin teacher back home even got into a few discussions with some folks that didn't like the electric violin and viola at a contemporary church. They wanted to stick with the regular band- guitar and drum music.

I remember the uproar over the usage of taped music to accompany vocals at my old church. JMT, I apologize if I came across as mocking or dismissive but I have tried contemporary services multiple times and have walked away from them not feeling that I have communed with God but rather have been been to a rock concert. The experiences have in most cases have been quite disconcerting. One of the most beautiful services I ever attended was in Church of God where they never used music of any type and the hymns were sung a capello (sp ?) with the high vaulted ceilings it was heavenly. It appea

I don't care for an AC/DC concert on a sunday morning.. Not my cup of tea...

Surely there is somewhere in Paulding that at least has a traditional service and an organ??? I really like classic hymns played on the organ and baroque period classical music. I want to "jam" at church to music I like. LOL!!

I looked at your churches website, nice website. I'm looking for the "high church" orchestra and worship experience I experienced growing up.
-
How large is the orchestra and what would you say is the mix between traditional and contemporary? 60/40? I'm looking for a traditional service.
-
Where is it? I might give it a shot. We'd prefer Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist but every church is different. We've had a few bad experiences at Baptist churches and are hesitant about going to one again.
-
Does anyone know of a church on this side of Atlanta, maybe somewhere in Cobb County that has an orchestra? I'm looking for one that has an orchestra pit where the orchestra plays weekly as part of the sermon. If this church has an organ would be a plus. Are there any churches in Paulding with traditional services with organ music? Non Baptist please.

Unfortunately, I expect this to happen again as layoffs continue. -
U-6 is currently in that range. If U-2 (or is it U-3) gets to that range that would put U-6 in the mid 20% range and would be comparable to rates seen during the Great Depression. I was talking to friend that is also unemployed and we were lamenting that despite our best efforts, the reality is that we may be unemployed for several years. Its a sobering thought!

I have been planning to have one of those Smithfield Paula Deen hams with the crunchy glaze for Thanksgiving. I saw some this morning at the grocery store and I know they go fast and can be really hard to find right before Thanksgiving. So if I got one now would it be okay in the refrigerator or would i need to freeze it? Its already pre cooked it just needs to be heated up. I am not a big ham person but these things are to die for!!!

We've always been pretty good bargain hunters. We bought our son's X-mas gifts at Kmart and Target earlier this year when they were having the toy clearance and got everything from 75-90% off. As for us, we really don't need anything. I collect sterling silver X-mas ornaments and did buy 2-3 of those but other than that we really have gotten out of the habit of buying each other anything. This is the first year we will do this and part of it is due to everyone cutting back and wanting to spread some X-mas cheer. I'm going to bake a bunch of coolies, fudge, brownies etc. to give to friends -

I could see people in the US being interested in these products in principal. -
They were in RP or SS not sure which..

I'll look and see if I still have them. Were you planning on combining them with the $10 store coupon from Publix in the new Advantage flyer? You can use both of them and could get $20 off...

Disney offers refund to settle Baby Einstein lawsuit

I have some of these videos that I bought at consignment sales. My son really likes them but I never thought they actually would turn my kid into some kind of genious. If some people were given the impression that they did and they fell for it well I doubt their kids would be Mensa material. LOL!!! -
Here is a link explaining the details of the lawsuit and background- http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/24/education/24baby.html?_r=1 Here is the link to claim your refund/exchange- http://www.babyeinstein.com/(S(3qnoffi1whn...upgrade_us.html This looks like an opportunity to get $$ back even if your kid doesn't watch the videos anymore.
