  1. I am by no means politically savvy. But how can a person or company based in FLORIDA back someone running for office in GEORGIA? And, now I'm sad to hear that my old doctor has backed this idiot. AND who has a street named after himself while he's still ALIVE? Sure is full of himself....I know the family - graduated with half of them. 'nuff said.... Not to mention that the donations listed are either business cronies with their hands in his pockets (or vice versa) or family. I'm not voting for any of them.... And how can someone running for Mayor back him? That, to me, is confli
  2. HIJACK! You mentioned above that your child has migraines. I do too. But I did not when I was a child. I take the triptans to abort, and I can take the stronger pain meds. I'm just wondering what they can do for your daughter since she is so young. I used to babysit (when my triplets were in kindergarten) a set of fraternal boy twins. One of the boys would get migraines. He is a fair skinned child anyway, so when he'd get sick he would be ghostly. He'd just lay on the couch with the little trash can next to him because he would also get physically sick. Bless his heart. I think he's
  3. Does anyone know what happened over by Catfish Den Monday evening around 9? A coworker says there were about 8 police cars all chasing a red pickup. The truck ended up at the Den completely surrounded by the cops.
  4. Rose passed away in her own home last Sunday evening. She leaves behind 3 children: Frank, Sue, and Cyndy. All of the children are married and have given Rose grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed be all who knew her. I live across the street from her and have known her for over 30 years. While I don't know her birthdate, I know that she was 87 when she passed and was still going camping with her daughter, Cyndy, Cyndy's husband, Bryan Blackwell, and their two boys, Burt and Clay. Rest in Peace, Rose.
  5. I believe she qualifies as a Legend in her own time. I've never met her. But I have heard of her. She was an amazing lady.
  6. Try the website. I have a work associate who collects the trucks and she gets them on the website.
  7. Getting alot of views but no one saying anything!!!
  8. Okay, well, I'm tone deaf. BUT, with that said, I like the first one. I also think she has a good range. She gets high and she gets low. Look at the camera more often. Good luck!
  9. I'm IN! I'm meeting Starz tonight to give her my 20.
  10. I work in Midtown on Peachtree Street. I ride the bus, so I'm at the Powder Springs park and ride around 6:30 every night. I live in Hiram.
  11. How do YOU get the money to Caped Crusader?
  12. How could I get the money to you by Friday if I work across town?
  13. Do you want a check in the mail? Will you let the computer pick the numbers? Or do we get to give you a number and you combine them somehow. How many tickets are you wanting to get?
  14. I used to tell my boys "I'll just stand on a stool, or get a bigger bat!". Honestly, though, our kids didn't give us a lot of trouble. They were mouthy. Dang! They sure were! And we would be going along really nice day by day, then BAM! Another war of the personalities. Then, as they got into their late teens, my hubby would tell them - every chance he got - to remember that they were old enough to be tried by a jury of their peers. That usually got their attention....
  15. I hope you've gotten some relief from the drama at home. We have 4 young adults now. 3 boys and one girl. They all rebelled in one way or another. I believe it is their way of trying to grow up. She needs alot of direction. Take her phone away during school hours. If she needs you during that time, there's a phone in the office. Pull in the reigns some. She should have a curfew. Make it early to start with and let her earn time in 30 minute intervals. Remember nothing good ever happens after midnight. No reason for her to be out past then. She should call you when she gets somewhe
  16. This happened to me when I was a freshman in high school. A guy slapped my butt while I was passing out papers. I slapped him across the face. The teacher heard MY slap, and asked what happened. Neither of us said anything. But he got the point. Never happened again. I'm kind of a pushover. I am not one to take up for myself. But this was where I drew the line. Your daughter is only 11. But she needs to take care of herself. You can't do this for her. You have back up where you've notified the school that it's happening. If she hauls off and slaps the $$ out of them, they wo

  18. It's probably the Allatoona Inn. Our daughter is getting married there in July.
  19. I live in Hiram. I heard it. It startled me awake!
  20. How did YOU know I had a complete hysterectomy?!! I am female. And, yes, I've had 4 children. A single birth and a multiple (triplet)birth. I know all about selective aboortzions etc. So, don't assume anything..... I know that's right! I cracked up at smushmorshuns! I crack up just typing it!
  21. ABSOLUTELY! And the transvaginal thingy is a violation of my privacy, thank you very much. I will not have the government telling me I have to have a particular test done just because they say so. It's my body. I will make the decisions. Again, thank you very much!
  22. I don't know, Postman. You are coming awfully close to the fine line between love for another human being and controlling another human being. You don't own your wife. So you really have no claims to her. Even that paper marriage certificate doesn't hold her down unless she wants to be. So, having a baby at whatever gestational age and creating a medical emergency with your wife is your wife's decision. Not yours. You can have your two cents, but she has final say. It's her body. Love it or leave it.
