Breastfeeding is beautiful and NATURAL. I BF'd all three of my kids. It was a wonderful time, knowing I was that responsible for their basic needs. Not a single one of us would likely even be here if women hadn't been designed to feed their infant children from their breasts. And if some folks want to breastfeed their toddlers? NO PROBLEM! Your child, your choice. Me? Once they had lots of teeth and could ask for a cup, it was time to transition to the cup. Yes, they are trying to be deliberately provocative with that as their cover. I don't care how long someone wishes to nurse th

I heard on the radio just a while ago that they are going to have to amputate both of her hands and her remaining foot. So sad.

I'm so sorry.

It's passed on. I have an advanced degree in English. It's not the least bit worthless.

If you CHOOSE to major in Medieval History as the focus of your PhD, obviously you hope to teach. There is no real market for that major in the "real world." And that's OK, if you want to teach. But for the love of all things ancient and current, FIND YOURSELF A TEACHING JOB! Not everyone who majors in Medieval History is going to wind up with a tenured position at Harvard. Just like every kid who hones up on his football or basketball skills is going to end up playing in the NFL or the NBA. If you teach your kids anything, it ought to involve a back-up plan. Education is u

I've heard that the writing in 50 Shades is atrocious. That's enough to keep me away. I don't generally like to read things I feel the need to edit. I watched the first season of Lost...and then they lost me. I had no desire to play their silly game. I did watch the series finale when it originally aired, because my daughter was a HUGE Lost fan...it was unsatisfying, and I didn't even follow the series. Meh.

YOU: "Is your family involved in a daycare in Villa Rica?" ME: "Yes. " You have awesome extrapolation skills. Goodnight!

I have no idea what you are talking about. None. Did you have a POINT? Was some part of it directed at ME? Last time I checked, I had as much leeway to criticize your cr@p as you did the OP. At least what I posted made sense. Have a good night. I'm off to sleep. I'm too busy to try to police the Internet. Too bad we all aren't.

Oh, absolutely agreed. I mean, what could be done at 9:00 pm, right? But...what harm is there in ASKING when you suspect that something might not be right at the daycare where you will drop your child off at 7:00 am tomorrow? How could it EVER be wrong to ask if anyone else had similar problems or concerns? I'm guessing you have no kids or grandkids in daycare locally. I do. And I appreciate both the questions that were asked and the reasons behind them.

My understanding of how it is handled is as follows: 1) You make a report with your local LE so that your bank has verification of the crime. 2) Your bank returns the money to your account. 3) The bank goes after the folks who accepted the false charges. The folks who might do the investigation COULD include your local LE, but more likely it will be the bank or those who have to absorb the costs of the fake charges. That was my understanding. I had my funds returned promptly by my bank, and what happens now is out of my hands. I am just glad I didn't have to take the $6

We went recently to the Steak House in Rockmart, and the steak was very good--not over-seasoned with cr@p that hides the flavor of a good steak, cooked perfectly to order, and very, very tender. Funny thing though...my husband and I both ordered identical meals--small rib eye with a baked sweet potato as the side, and even though they were both very good, our two rib eyes were VERY different. Mine was short and thick, and his was thinner and longer. And that does affect how a steak cooks. I just thought it was odd. But we'd go back--it was good food. BUT...the service $ucked!! BIG TIME!! Were they planning to resurge before or AFTER they blew up that bridge in Cleveland? Or maybe AS they did it?

I have BEAUTIFUL roses. Three knockouts, and five of various other kinds. They are beautiful and SO productive. They bloom all year as long as I prune them once the current blooms are spent. Last week while I was out pruning, I noticed some sort of odd hyper-growth on three of my bushes--my largest and most beautiful knockout, a smaller but still lovely double knockout, and a wonderful hybrid I bought a couple of years ago at Home Depot that gives me beautiful pink buds that open up into HUGE and fragrant white roses. I was perplexed...what was this strange overgrowth on my roses? So I

Am I the only one who is disturbed that someone is putting unpurchased clothes on her nekkid body and then hanging them back on the rack for the next person to try on? -
I getcha! My hubby does JD lawn tractors as a hobby. He might pick them up cheap, but he puts a LOT into them before he sells them, unless he sells them with the buyer knowing it has no warranty and may not last if not properly cared for. It's odd how folks think mower engines need less care than what they'd give the car they drive. It's still an engine, and it still needs maintenance.
