  1. So did you get the job? PTSD for me no. If anything, serving in the military made me a stronger person and I won't let people bully me.
  2. Zillow is more accurate on my houses than Trulia is. Trulia said my Dallas house was sold for 35K?????? What does Purchase/Resale Arm's Length Residential Transaction mean?
  3. There is some restaurant out my way called the Half Shell. Oysters and Hot dogs what a combo LOL
  4. That's the only way I can get pictures to post.
  5. Mines been on 24/7 for at least a week now. I only turn it on at night if it is going to get 45 degrees or colder at night.
  6. I hate that he is in the middle of nowhere land. When he gets to his DS he will get tired of seeing his MAMA. LOL
  7. My oldest is in the Air Force. I just found out today that he is coming home for Memorial Day. I didn't think I was going to see him again till July. Doing the happy dance. Is there anything exciting going on for Memorial Day week-end in the ATL area?
  8. I'm dealing with two homes right now. Yes it isn't cheap and a house is a hole that you just keep throwing money into. But the thought a paying rent and having nothing to show for it...I'll pass for now.
  9. An hour each way. UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I think we are only about 10 miles or so closer now, but we can hop on the interstate that is why we save so much time. I am 22 miles from the Airport where I live now. It was 33 if I remember right, from New Hope.
  10. "FALSE: Administration officials watched the attacks unfold in real time but did nothing to intervene. FALSE: Requests issued by U.S. personnel for military back-up during the attacks were denied. FALSE: General Carter Ham was relieved of his command for attempting to provide military assistance during the Benghazi attacks. FALSE: Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette was relieved of his command for attempting to provide military assistance during the Benghazi attacks" http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/benghazi.asp
  11. I flew on a small plane that landed on water when I was 12. This was in MN. First time on a large plane was from Kansas City to Miami, I was 18. After that I have flown so much I lost count. My children have been flying from a young age. They hate car trips now because it takes so long to get there compared to an airplane. Flight that sticks out to me...Is when we flew to Ft Lauderdale from ATL late Aug 2001. There was a creepy looking middle eastern man on that flight. Well we all know what happened after that. We flew home before the attacks but my MIL had to fly back to Pittsb
  12. They let parents of adult military children go back with them, but I believe it is only if they are in uniform.
  13. He will be fine. If he has any questions or needs help, he can just ask one of the attendants. If you have any friends that work for the airlines, possibly they could escort him back for you.
  14. When I read what he did...Shot the girl and buried her alive. He needed to die, and part of me is glad he suffered. Now I am ticked the other one, who raped a 11 month old baby gets to live another 2 weeks. How these guys survived so long in jail boggles my mind. I thought prisoners took care of child molesters and this was a baby!
  15. Looks good. Love the sun room and kitchen!
  16. Stay off IE for awhile. The news said it was bad, some hacking is going on. Go to CHROME or something else for now!!!!!!
  17. Does this apply to wall tile too? I was going to go with a med color gray grout. Watching this thread.
  18. Nope, no one would care. I thought it was interesting last night at my son's honor ceremony, that there was quite a few scholarships for black students only but none exclusively for white students....But they were only $500-$1000 the kids that got full ride scholarships were 95% white students. So I guess that made up for it RIGHT?
