Opinions....I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Getting new white cabinets and black granite countertops, with white subway tile. Now this is where your opinion comes in. Should I keep the bead board white or paint it black? I don't have pics I could post some later when the contractor leaves. The only bead board is where the bar was cut down that faces into the eat in kitchen area....I am leaning towards painting it black, seems like to much white.

Still learning about Eagles here. When BEA takes her first flight will she come back to the nest or is that the end? Gotta prepare myself.

Good grief. People and let me guess (WOMEN) need to grow up. Just ignore the DRAMA. I have to chuckle though, I do have a daughter in middle school and some of the stuff I have to listen to. The kids are more mature than the adults some of the time. And at the same time I have to go back to middle school mentality to help my daughter solve some of her problems.

I have no idea to your question. Both of my HOAs have homeowners on the board but they have an outside management company that sends the letters out etc. I thought that was the norm. My beef is getting facebook PM's and emails from the HOA President telling me IHO the fence needs to be replaced and the bullying about it.

Really? I think in all of the years I have owned that house I got 3 letters. One was for having the trash can in the front yard....Only because I was on vacation. 2nd wanting the porch painted. 3rd was the other day for weeds in my yard...Renter has been doing a pretty good job then.

In the area that I moved to seems like they all have HOA's pool or not. So I made sure I bought a house with a club house and pool. The one out in Dallas isn't bad at all.

It was approved before I moved in. It isn't in bad shape just needs to be stained, which will be done this year. It is a pine fence and they have changed it to where it has to be cedar or iron. Fences don't last forever though, so I was curious if they can just come out and say it has to be replaced for no reason.

Question and What is your opinion? If you buy a house with a fence already installed....Can the HOA tell you that you have to remove or replace it entirely?

Unless he had issues before they probably just ck'd his fasting sugar. AIC measures what your average blood sugar was for the past 3 months. The number would look different too. My A1C was 5.3 and fasting was 95 at last ck.

Dana, I don't ck my levels at home. They just ck my A1C every 6 months. A warning about the meter. When I first went to MD they gave me one at the Naval Clinic. I did it for a month at my dietitian recommendation. All it did was get me upset. It is off on the average by at least 10 pts. How do I know this..I did my blood ck at the same time they did my labs and ck'd my blood sugar. It was literally saying my sugar was in the 120's in the morning....When it really wasn't.

OPPPPS to late. I got a new one last summer. I didn't show them a marriage license. I was able to use my passport. They just need something that shows your new married name. I went to the DMV in Newnan. Will it be free or will I have to pay again? Seems like I paid 27 yesterday.

1300 was for me, men would def need more, at least 1800-2000 a day. If I am active I eat more like 1600 at a day. I was showing how to split up the 6 meals, I thought it was obvious that men would need more calories. When I was working and sitting at a desk most of the day, that is all I needed, I would blow up HUGE if I ate more than that. 500 at my dinner was plenty to give me energy for a 30-40 minute walk. For me I eat about 1200 and eat extra for the calories burned off thru exercise. Sad part is the older you get the less you can eat

Also forgot to add. I like a sweet for breakfast, lately I have been eating the coconut Atkins bars. They are so good. I also like the Peanut Butter cup ones.

I still eat cakes and cookies. If he has a sweet cut out the other carbs and go for a walk, best way to lower the sugar levels. If you don't mind me asking what was his fasting number. Mine ranges from 115-95. They want it to be less than 110..But ideal is less than 100. Also have him have his last snack at 9PM. I've been dealing with this since 2002.

I've never been told to take this pill. I know it can cause stomach upset.

I've been Pre-Diabetic for years. I am keeping type 2 away by watching my weight and I exercise at least 5 times a week. Best time for me to exercise is about 1 hour after dinner. Best way to eat....Eat 6 small meals a day. 200, 100, 300, 100, 500, 100...That is easier to do if you have an office job. But it keeps the lightheartedness away. I rarely get hungry just lightheaded for some reason.
