  1. We had filet mignon, spinach salad with almonds, blueberries and bleu cheese, and hubby had french fries. It was magnificent!!
  2. We used to go all the time when it was The Fieldstone Resort. It was beautiful and lots of fun when we went. The food in the restuarant was great, and they used to cook out hamburgers and hot dogs in the summer time out by the pool. The last time we went before it changed hands to the Ridges Resort it had gotten very run down. But, looking at the pictures of the Ridges it looks like they have done a major upgrade. If it looks as good as the pictures you will love it. The rooms were always tastefully done with high end sheets and bedding and it looks that way now based
  3. I have been going to Dr. Penny since he was on the square in Dallas. My dad was a chiropractor and I was looking for one just like him--doesn't hurt me and is very patient! I don't know how to relax and it is hard to give an adjustment to someone who tenses up as soon as they lay on the table, but Dr. Penny knows this, and he can always adjust me. He has been adjusting my kids since they were little bitty and I have to say they are a handful, and he is still patient with them. I recommend him to everybody I know!!!
  4. She's beautiful, just like her mommy! But, from the pictures I see of Will, I think she looks like him.
  5. I think they should use Westridge, also. I saw people getting sick left and right today at SPHS. Some people were even carried off on stretchers. I am sunburned very badly and I had on plenty of sunscreen. I also spent $27.00 on bottled water for my family. It was a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I always wanted to be a school teacher when I was in school. As soon as I graduated I, too, went straight to work for Southern Bell/AT&T, worked there for 17 years, transferring to a different department every time I could. I wanted to learn everything about it! It was a great job back when--now I think it would be horrible to work there. They hire a lot of idiots. After I retired from there and got my kids somewhat grown I started real estate, stayed there for 3 years, and had the oppportunity to become a business owner. I am now the proud owner of my own heating and air
  7. You might also try Warehouse of Hope. I took a lot of suits up there a couple of months ago that might have been that size. They were my brother-in-law's so I'm not sure of the size but i know they were big sizes.
  8. Mine was used at a grocery store in New York on Friday. Do we get our money back? I have been trying to contact my credit union all weekend but can't get through to them.
  9. Ours has been on since the middle of January. I am mean if I get hot.
  10. RR--what gym do you go to? I want to hire a trainer or at least join a gym and do some classes. I am looking into In Tune Fitness and then few gyms that wouldn't be too far away.
  11. Which Kroger? And when did you get it? I need a book to take with me on my trip and wanted to get it today.
  12. Do any department stores sell this book? I looked for it at Sam's but they didn't have it.
  13. We are getting ready to do the same thing out by the pool. We built a fireplace and a kind of sort of gazebo and want privacy curtains. I priced some from Amazon and they were going to be $600 before shipping, so I saw the drop cloth curtains and pinterest and it will only cost around $200.00 and that will include the gas line we are using as curtain rods. I will post my pictures as soon as we are finished! By the way, yours looks great!
  14. I heard what that stuff does to you!
  15. I'm not a very big drinker, so it has to taste really good for me to want to drink. The wine in the blue bottle is stweet and doesn't leave a dry taste in my mouth. I actually like the taste of it. I tried the Sutter Home pink tonight, took 2 sips and decided I didn't like it, so it's either going to be poured out or will sit in the fridge until someone decides they want to try it.
  16. my husband got me the Sutter Home. I'm going to try it, but I love the Moscato they sell in the blue bottle and was thinking it might be made by the same company. I'll try and see if I like it. might go back and get the barefoot. some of their wine is good.
  17. Did anybody buy any of the pink moscato that Sam's had on display up front before Easter? I'm trying to find out the name of it. It was in a pretty bottle beside the blue bottle of D'Asti Moscato.
  18. I was so focused on my husband sitting there eating and drinking in front of me and running his business on his cell phone that I didn't even think about the pain I was having. I was just wanting to kill him for not being by my side. My doctor finally told him to get off the phone and come over there and hold my hand. A few minutes later my daughter arrived!!! Luckily, for my husband, he survived without me killing him. Forgot to mention-- I had her natural, no pain meds or epidural, but I also had petocin because my water had broke and had a little bit of blood in it, so they were afr
  19. We just left a little while ago from eating there. We had 2 medium wing dinners and 2 barbq wing dinners. Very good! But, I have a question--do y'all put cinnamon on your fries? It sure tasted like you did--good, but different.
  20. We LOVE Ted's Montana Grill-- beef or bison-- never had a bad steak there! And they have great sides-- the asparagus is delicious!
  21. Tina Drummond-- commerce member on here. She's awesome!
  22. Both of my babies slept on their tummy. I see so many flat headed babies now from sleeping on their backs. IMO it's not good for their neck and spine. They don't have the curve in their neck that is supposed to be there. Plus, like the other poster said, if they spit up it could be dangerous. And, they do sleep better and longer on their tummies.
  23. Our heating and air company has had several calls yesterday and today with air not working, so I think a lot of people are turning the a/c on. It's better than opening the windows and letting the pollen in.
