Guard Dad, that's exactly what happened in my mom's family. My aunt was born premature, and the black cotton pickers took care of her and fed her pot liquor and goat's milk. She survived and was the most fiesty person i have ever known! They weren't from Hopewell or Crabapple, GA were they? Might be the same person.

That's funny! We always called them cornfield dumplings!

I heard they are NOT putting a Krispy Kreme in the old Arby's in Dallas.

Same here. 6:47 and still no trash pickup.. I have called them all day and never get an answer. Kind of getting fed up with their service. I'm thinking about switching because I have never gotten an answer when I call. -
Bad intersections and very slick roads*wrecks*

Hiram Sudie Road going down the hill to the red light at 61 is slick. All of Cole Lake Rd is slick. -
Please keep her in your prayers! I talked to Dr. Penney yesterday and he said she is still in pain, so hopefully this surgery will relieve some of the pain. He said this could potentially be one of a few surgeries.

Mine was when I was pregnant with my son. I developed pre-eclampsia in my 4th month, which is highly unusual. My blood pressure was 220/180, stroke or coma level. I was admitted to the hospital, and was told that either me, or my baby, or possibly both, could die. I was told to get my affairs in order because I had a 3 year old that needed to be taken care of. My life, from then til delivery a month later at just 23 weeks pregnant consisted of trusting God to make things right. I have never felt so close to God as I did at that time. It really put things in perspective. I now rely o

Just wondering if she has checked in. I had forgotten about it being today until I went to Dr. Penney and saw the note where he is closed today for the surgery.

Gun shows will start up in January. I bought an AR-15 at one in Cartersville last year and I am very happy with it. It looks like a bad-a$$ weapon already and came with 4 magazines and a nice carrying case. The total price was right under $1500.00. They are set up to do a background check while you wait. Took all of 10 minutes,

My nephew's wife is from Brazil and she always cooks them like you were talking about, along with boiled quail eggs. Delish!!!!

If you can't count back change you don't need $15.00 an hour. You need to quit your job and listen in school!

Alright ladies, how about a fashion convo?

I would wear the shoes you are talking about with leggings that stop at the ankle-cute, cute, cute!!! But, I would have my toenails painted and no visible dry skin on my feet. -
I totally agree, but the stupid law doesn't!

This just happened to a friend of a friend of ours at Best Buy In Kennesaw over the weekend. It was a group of 3 black guys, and one punched the person, but didn't knock him out. The person hit the black guy back and got him on the ground and found out it was a kid. His wife called the police while the guy held the kid down. When the police got there, they arrested the kid and the guy that was punched because he hit a minor. Now, this person has to hire a lawyer and spend his own money to get out of this situation.

Unless it's really bad like what LPPT has, I would start off with the chiropractor. When I have sciatica I get an adjustment and it is instant relief. Same with lower back pain. I would not start the medicine until I exhausted all natural healing, because it will be a never ending cycle. Chiropractic works for me. Also, my sciatica was worse when I was pregnant, and the chiropractor helped every time. I do not take any medicine for that kind of pain.

The lack of railing is still a problem. I'm surprised it's been that way for so long. Other than that, I have been there 3 times in the past 3 weeks. It is beautiful!
-
Exactly!! And it's costing me money to try to get him convicted, while everything he does is paid for by our taxes.
-
Nope, not an assumption. He is in a drug rehab that we are paying for and while in there, the government is paying his child support check.

In my on-going case-- 1. the thief stole my jewelry from my home 2. He took it to a cash for gold place 3. He got money for it 4. A picture was taken of the jewelry by the cash for gold place 5. A picture of the thief's driver's license was taken 6. I filed a police report 7. Detective said "oh, we have been watching him. He turned in lots of jewelry lately." 8. Detective and I went to gold place. I identified jewelry. I also had a picture of my jewelry so they knew it was mine. 9. All jewelry had been melted down already except for my husband's wedding band 10. I got his band bac

Your last paragraph is exactly why I am upset!!!!! I am a responsible gun owner, but I sometimes wish I weren't so responsible, when I am being victimized, and nothing is done. Yes, I am venting, but, I dream of the day when the bad guy gets what's coming to him and the innocent don't have to spend their hard earned money to hire lawyers, go to court, replace stolen objects, repair stuff that the bad guy messes up, etc... My original post was out of frustration because, as usual, nothing is done by the police or the justice system. It all gets swept under the carpet and th

Exactly!!!! Someone walking outside with a gun would scare me so bad I would drop what I was stealing and run!!! And, I probably wouldn't steal from them again.
-
I never said I was going to shoot them for stealing, but I would have my gun with me if I caught them. I said they need to be prepared to suffer the consequences. And, I have already had the person that I caught stealing from my personal home 3 times, and my business twice arrested. They told the policeman that, yes, they did it. They were actually caught red handed. Yes, he went to jail, posted bond, I went to court on the court date, he had gotten a public defender. Neither he, nor the public defender showed up, but I did, someone stood up for the public defender and said this guy pl

I like how you said I can't shoot anybody unless it's blah, blah, but can the person steal from me and get away with it if he or she is not threatening me? Why is it okay for them to break the law, but not me? A sin is a sin. Who's going to judge me? They started it, not me. I worked hard for my possessions and got them legally, they stole from me and are probably coming to your house next. If they asked me for something, I would give it to them. But, don't come here taking without asking. That's what wrong with the world today--people think they can get away with anything, and they u

Well, if the case goes anything like the ones where the people who are guilty of stealing my property goes, I can just say I'm not guilty, get a public defender, go free and do it all over again. "No, officer, I didn't shoot that person, even though I was caught red-handed." I've already talked to the deputies til I'm blue in the face. Even sworn out warrants and they are just sitting there. They don't even try to arrest the people anymore. I am in fear for my life when somebody invades my privacy and takes my possessions. I fear they will take one of my kids o

Daughter's gas cap was off this morning when she went outside. I have had too many things stolen from me and my family and the justice system does nothing about it, so, today, I will take on the criminals! I am a gun toting citizen now and I'm not afraid to use it. Mess with me or my family and suffer the consequences.
