  1. Cooking is usually not too hard for them, it's the planning that blows them away..............how many eggs DO you need for 14 people??? How much bacon again???
  2. That time of year again. If you plan on going to Paulding Meadows this year be sure to get advance tickets, they are $2.00 in advance and $3.00 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are admitted free!! NO PETS allowed in the Park unless they are service animals. There are several groups around the county that have tickets to sell. 4H (next to the hospital), the Chamber of Commerce, the Library and our Cub Scout Pack 301 have plenty. If you'd like some, PM me and I'll get them to you. Pubby and Pcom are going to be there again!!!!
  3. Woo Hoooo. Just wait til they prepare their own meals at camp!!! My sink and kitchen have to be clean and clutter free before I cook......I cannot stand not being able to use BOTH sinks if I have to. My youngest is an excellent cook. He learned most of it from his Scouting experience. When they have to prepare their own meals on an open fire they learn real quick what's good and what's not. The best part is he learned food safety and clean as you go. By 14 he could plan and prepare the entire meal. He actually cooks better than my daughter.
  4. My very first jury duty experience was actually the condemnation cases against the state for property that was taken to put in the 4 lane (278). I actually sat on two different cases. While the state is generally in compliance with the fair market value of property they condemn, they had some "value losses" on adjoining property that owners felt they would not be rightly compensated for. It was interesting, to say the least but I always say if you need a roof - hire a roofer, if you need a floor - hire a flooring contractor, if you need an attorney to represent you for a condemnation c
  5. On my way home there was a fire truck and a large dead tree that had fallen across some power lines. They hadn't broken yet but they were struggling to hold the tree up.
  6. GaLinemansWife have a wonderful day!! You too Lady Raider and Weatherboy~~~
  7. I couldn't do it. Someone else taught my kids to drive. Well the two oldest had driver's ed in High School (Illinois) and the youngest went to West Metro Driving School, they are awesome!!! Youngest didn't get his license til he was 18.

  11. I don't know Glenn personally, I really don't care how he got where he is, I just know he needs all the help he can get. I just hope if you ever face this situation, you have the love and support you need - regardless of who you p*ssed off the in the process.
  12. Happy Birthday, I almost missed it. Hope you had a wonderful day. 40 is grand!!!
  13. Thank you!! :clapping: I lost a sister many years ago the same way. It was almost a relief to know I didn't have to run and check on her all the time. I hope and pray he gets the right help.
  14. That was cool JJ. We sure got there fast!!!!
  15. How about we just say he's a Democrat and leave it at that???
  16. Regardless of how he got where he is, he certainly needs help. Did he screw up his life all by himself, probably..........but let's not kick him while he's down. He's someone's child, someone's father, someone's family member. He means something to them no matter what he's done. I just think it's foolish to continue airing this man's dirty laundry on a public message board. He's gone, he's no threat to me or most on this board. Give him a break until he gets control of his life again. Praying for him and his family.
  17. Ummm, I'd call a professional but mostly because, I don't think I could out run them.
  18. So Sheffield is near Braswell Mountain?? I'm trying to place where it is. The map says its almost 3000 acres.
  19. Yea, let's not forget we're talking about the Southern High Intensity Tunnelleers United No Obsolete Tunnellers #69.
