In Chicago in 1979 it was so cold the oil froze in the engines of most cars. We had to put a heating element under mine to get it to start. I don't miss that!! I know I should remember but my CRS is getting horrible, where did you live again EJ??

Inside the cave is natural air conditioning. It's probably about 60 degrees in there. And the water in the creek and pool is cold!! Oh yea, there are lots of ducks, too.

Cave Spring is Wonderful. They have the Cave, the little pond and the park. There are also lots of antique stores and a fudge shop. It's 1/2 day trip. The cave only costs $1.00 to go in (it's not very big) and you can buy fish food for 25 cents to feed the rainbow and brook trout in the pond. They have a pool, very, very cold. It's fed with the water from the spring, lined with local stone and in the shape of the state of Georgia. They also have the School for the Deaf there. It's only about 45 minutes for me, I love to just get up early in the morning and ride over there. You ca

We have internet through AT& T at home. Because my son is a gamer, we have the fastest one available for $49.95. Not sure what kind of package you're looking for and it depends on how many TVs you want connected (how many boxes you'll need). Here's their website DirecTV. If you get the service agreement for $7.00 per month they'll fix anything for free. If you don't you're on your own if they go out. We have both DirectTV and Comcast (home and work), I just think DirectTV is better for the $. I don't think they have a promotional period, but you can check.

I just don't like paying for something I can get for free. They are charging us for Basic Cable which is only local channels. I can go buy a digital box and get those for free. The kid I talked to said but it's a better signal...........I don't think so. We get great reception on our one TV at home that just has the converter box.

We don't seem to have a problem. Every once in a while when they are working on the lines the DSL may go out for a little while but for the most part we are good with AT&T.

I am bowing out of this thread for now. I have been on both sides of this issue, I will wait to make any further comments until the TRUTH comes out. We know it will. Until then, I can't help but believe a child was scared and confused at some point.

Because you are a first class kinda MOD. You deserve the very best.

But I have been on the side where it really did happen. Their life was hell from that moment on, one child died of an OD at 28, the mom took her own life 15 years after it "came out", another one has 4 children that all live with their different fathers and the third child has had various issues her entire life........something like this doesn't go away after the arrest and trial. It's a life sentence for the entire family.

Why didn't I remember this??? My CRS is getting worse and worse. It's a long way from Yorkville to the dump but once a week shouldn't be a problem. They don't charge you do they??

I'm glad I didn't have to vote in that race. I would have been thoroughly p*issed if I found out about the charges (she knew were forthcoming) after the election. She should have said something or stepped aside.

I completely agree with you. I realize Beverly had no role in this, however she should have stepped aside or at least let us have an idea something bad could be coming down. If she knew the charges might be forthcoming, she should have been honest with the people she wanted to vote for her. To me, it's no different than what Stout did.
