Paulding County BOC passes millage rate increase
Cathyhelms replied to LPPT's topic in Paulding County NEWS
They are setting up another good ole boy system. David's boys will all be voting together, just watch. -
Are there any dem runoffs in the county?? If not that could explain some of the absent voters. If you voted dem in the primary, you have to vote dem in the runoff. If you didn't vote in the primary, you can vote what ever ballot you want in the runoff.

Is Drew unconcerned about the right to trial?
Cathyhelms replied to Cabe's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Sorry, he shouldn't have taken the $ if he couldn't do the job. When you're emotional, scared and don't know about the legal profession, it's easy to hire someone that was recommended. He is supposedly the professional in that field, he should have referred her to someone that specialized in family matters. -
I voted my conscience, I hope my people pull it out. I still think we need checks and balances. I'm certainly not happy about this increase.

I think most teachers are setting ground rules this week. Just tell her to pay attention and explain the rules may be a little different with her teacher this year. She's probably very excited and finding it hard to restrain herself. It'll be OK.

I was thinking the same thing. Should she change her screen name to Attitude?

:clapping: I can't stand all this negative stuff, especially about our local people. If something in someone's past needs to come out, it will. Continuing to hit them while they are down does no one any good. It's getting harder and harder to separate the lies from the truth. All this crap has given Roy much more ammunition than he needs.

If you're planning on voting at Sara Ragsdale,

Yes, there is a separate entrance to the gym, I just wouldn't go til I knew all the buses were gone. By 3:00 it should be safe. -

I voted around noon, no problem. In and out, I was only the 3##th voter. They said we had 900 for the regular Primary election. I know there have to be more registered voters than that in Sunset Mountain and Southern Trace alone. -
Y'all are cracking me up. Some of these are great, some kinda scary. :shok:

A great deal on paper towels and tissue paper!

I should be at Ragsdale in about 45 minutes. A&M may have to wait (besides I'm not crazy about Scott towels ) But that price is hard to resist. WTG A&M!! -

I have that same weakness I cannot be without paper towels. -
I do know the more you post in the political forum, the more responses you get.

I bumped you up one, I have no idea why you got two negatives. What you said makes perfect sense. BTW, I think that rating system is very childish. -
This is what I had to use to learn to drive. It was a boat with a ginormous steering wheel.

OK, I went in the front doors when I voted on 7/20. I'm sure with the kids in school they're going to be a little more careful with who goes in. Back side is much closer to the gym, makes sense. -
That's what I've been told. Regular polling place.

I got a call from Drew, a real call. I got a recording from DD. Funny how that works. BTW, I'm not related to Drew. He says hello to me every time I see him but I seriously doubt he knows my name.
