I believe they will be in egg cases, 3 or 4 to a case. These are heavy duty cardboard boxes which are a little bit bigger than 1 foot x 1 foot x 2 feet.

I spoke to Russ about the birds yesterday. Based on his schedule, and my schedule, we are probably looking at the weekend of December 5/6 th or the 12/13th. I will let everyone know by Thanksgiving Weekend.

Ithy, Get your fact straight. March of 2005 P&Z/BOC we agreed to step aside and quit blocking the PRD development BASED ON THE SPECIAL ZONING STIPULATIONS WE WERE GRANTED. December 2005 we addressed the BOC [after addressing the IBA for the previous 4 months] reiterating the Industrial Business Park which could go on the Palisades property. May 2006 we addressed P&Z/BOC protesting additional acreage going into Palisades because the developer had not complied with the special zoning stips from March 2005, or even with the standard State and County ordinances and regulatio

The Adkins diet is a weight loss regime for substantial weight loss in a reasonably short period of time, and then finding your minimal carb level and maintaining. It works off putting your body into ketosis. If you have blood sugar problems you should not be doing a full blown Adkins without a doctor's care. When you go into ketosis, with exercise and plenty of water, it is amazing at the amount of belly weight you can indeed drop in a 2-3 week period of time. Your body will indeed start to consume the stored fats when you quit feeding the system carbs. And you can eat as much protein

I am a big supporter of David Austin, and have met with him and spoken with him concerning industrial development in the county. He knows he can call on me for any assistance regarding promoting and doing anything possible to attract industry to Paulding. Please note I did not start with the mud-slinging. BB and company jumped right in though. I asked a simple question, to which my buddy Feelip steered us a bit off course. I asked it again, and I will ask it once more, for all those who think our state representative does such a fine upstanding job.... "Can you please explai

Madea, We have little to nothing in the way of industrial parks with buildings for lease. These Brasilians were 1 of 2 anchors ready to commit to lease 250,000 square feet of space in a REAL industrial park. Nice buildings, some areas of forest and greenspace, Rail siding; proper layout to allow for 53' trailers, ocean containers, and street traffic. We have nothing along these lines anywhere in Paulding. We have a handful of 5,000 and 10,000 foot spaces in crappy business parks full of dance schools, churches, and karate studios. With other spec buildings the park would eventually have emplo

I have to very much call you out on this load of BS! I am not now, nor have I ever been a Democrat. I have never voted a democratic ticket. There have been several individual democrats, Sam Nunn included who I have supported over the years, but I also worked for Bo Calloway in several of his bids for the governor's seat. I very much supported King Jerry Shearin in his initial campaign for commission chairman in 2000, and in his subsequent re-election campaign in 2004. I actually drove around for several months with a magnetic Shearin sign on my trunk. I cannot claim, nor have I ever

Another one from Alton: Ingredients 3 ounces pasteurized egg whites 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 cups confectioners' sugar Directions In large bowl of stand mixer combine the egg whites and vanilla and beat until frothy. Add confectioners' sugar gradually and mix on low speed until sugar is incorporated and mixture is shiny. Turn speed up to high and beat until mixture forms stiff, glossy peaks. This should take approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Add food coloring, if desired. For immediate use, transfer icing to pastry bag or heavy duty storage bag and pipe as desired. If using storage ba

This one is originally from Alton Brown from FoodTV Ingredients 4 eggs, room temperature* 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup dark corn syrup 10 ounces butter, cubed and at room temperature Directions In a large mixing bowl, whip the eggs until light and fluffy. In a small saucepan bring the sugar and the corn syrup to a boil. Lubricate the inside of a metal baster with a small amount of vegetable oil and dispense it completely. Then use this to drizzle the sugar mixture into the mixing bowl with the eggs. The mixer should be on low speed until you finish drizzling in all of the sugar mixture.

Karma.....need I say more ?

Being quite UGLY tonight aren't we BB? Keep those fangs hidden please. Yeah,,,, KARMA. You reap what you sew. And yes, I have been enjoying watching what the old RBMDs have been reaping. Too bad they did not build the industrial park instead of a mud hole with another 500 homes. Just think of the local jobs lost which would not be negatively effected by the housing turn down. My Brasilian buddies who wanted to rent a building here just added another 25 employees to their operations in South Memphis, Miss. Could have been here in Paulding. Now that their money has gotten ti

BB, You must be following a different bunch of "constituents" then those I have tangled with. Last I heard some of our biggest and richest were losing their seats on the boards of their own banks, defaulting on loans, walking away from others. Must be a Karma sort of thing. I happen to enjoy being able to sit back and watch some of them wiggle and squirm....you know.....like there REALLY is a GOD!!! Of course my attorney has brought up the other side of the coin.....after all these years of litigation and hundreds of Thousands of dollars spent......are they going to have anything le

You need some eggs to give it consistency.

Frenched Rack of Lamb, grilled, then finished in the oven, very rare. It has been airing the spare fridge for a week, along with some boneless short ribs and a nice boneless rib-eye. Some grilled fat asparagus; a garden salad and some toasted bagette for the Prince and Queen. The King is low-carbing it again.

Ahhh, but Feelip... Most of our counties biggest and richest that are part of the dozen or so you refer to.....don't live here. They live in Floyd or Fulton, Cherokee, etc. The ones who used to live here moved because they got harrassed so often when confronted in public.

I have no interest in discussing Richardson's personal demons. I have asked the following question many times on p.com and have yet to ever receive a reasonable answer...... Exactly what has Mr Speaker Richardson done for his constituents in Paulding County since becoming Speaker, what 5 going on 6 years ago ?

how can you tell when a whole chicken has gone bad?

Sell by dates for dairy, and sell by dates for meat are 2 different items. Retailers cannot sell meat after the sell my date, good or no good. Most stores pull these products the day before the date just in case. If they are sealed cryovac units [oxygen removed and flushed with nitrogen gas] they will generally still be good for several days longer if the cryovac package is tight. If it is not vaccuum sealed to the meat, then it has leaked oxygen and the bacteria has started growning. In short, the CRIME does not pay the FINE. Toss it. -
The lack of good quality, "A" grade office/industrial parks has nothing to do with our local developers just not building them. Our local developers did not know how to do "A" grade industrial. They only knew how to clear-cut all of the piece of property except for the mandated patches of greenspace, and then grade them out for 1/4 to 1/6 acre lots and put houses on them. Even though the county had adopted a land use plan with areas specificially set aside for industrial business parks, the county allowed any of their gang to rezone said land to PRD, and build 5 to 6 houses to the acre

The brings back memories. When we first moved out here in 1983 we ended up with several young piglets, gelded males from a breeder in Winder. We had an old shed in the back and obtained an off the ground pig pen from an acquaitance with a feeder and waterer. We would do 2 batches of 4 per year as a small co-op. The other pigs were sold to co-op partners when we first got them. And we shared the feed costs. At slaughter time, Mr Chstain and his chihuahua TINY would show up with his 55gallon barrels put on to boil, and his wrecker. He charged us $25 per pig to kill, gut, and 1/4 them, scrap

I take MrsSurepip to the GRTA bus at Movies 278 at 6:35 to 6:45. Depending on how we hit "the pack" moving East on 278, you can catch the middle of the light at 120/Bill CArruth, and then hit each light green all the way to Metromount. Coming back by myself, going against traffic I almost always catch every light green from Home Depot back to 120/Bill Carruth.

Do overpriced college textbooks count ?

Not quite, but close. It is not the lack of interstates, but the lack if industrial office/warehouse space,.....we don't have anything to speak of available to rent. Generally a business looking to relocate wants a place ready to lease. The Intermodal yards on 278 in Powder Springs make us 7 to 8 miles from a deep water port, and all the cargo coming out of that facility which is going up I75 North, or West on 278 is coming right through Paulding. But we don't even have a truck stop fuel station, let alone nice industrial parks. But we do have a new administration who at least recogniz

Unless you are getting ready to open your own business, you came to the wrong place. We ONLY build houses in Paulding. We really have no other industries here other than retail fast food and the big box stores for the folks who live in the houses. 75% or MORE of our employeed citizens leave the county every day to go to work. Give old King Jerry Shearin a call, or some of his [non]merry ROBBER BARON MEGA DEVELOPERS and tell them THANKS for all they did for the Paulding County workers to get local jobs. What ? The merry crowd of RBMDs are no longer MERRY? I wonder why ? Tak

This is one of those things we have become a bit fanatical about in our later years. We use fresh whole beans, depending on what is on sale, and/or the Kroger Premium Colombian mixed with vanilla. We experimented with the grind settings over the years and the amounts. It works out to about 9 tablespoon scoops per 12 cup settings. So we fill the hopper with seeds and push the grind button and we are ready to go. Half and half.....and we put in a 250mg sacharin for the pot, just to knock the edge off a little.
