If I had someone stand in front of me and say here are two trucks, one is a old beater Nissan and the other is a new 2011 Ford F150 Supercrew, you are going to be in a high speed collision and must pick one to drive and the other is going to be driven by someone else in the collision, now PICK! Um, DUH! (I vote they let you drive the other one, hopefully some sense will get knocked in there when I clean your clock..) -

Well unlike you, most people like the practicality of a large truck and the fact that it is a family vehicle as well. One set of brakes in 270,000 miles?!?!!?? Dang! -

Sorry but you are wrong, the average family needs a truck that can not only haul but can also carry four to five people comfortably for primary transportation. I had a Ranger that was incredibly uncomfortable and didn't feel safe at all for my family, now my new F150 crew cab, it is a fantastic family vehicle. Not everyone just needs a clunker to run to the dump with trash.... Had you said it is a good choice for the average single person or average couple then maybe yes, but for a family nope.... (And I get about 18 mpg in my F150 V8 and got around 20 mpg in the Ranger with a V6, so very -
How much you spending this year?
its mr sarcastic to you replied to Blondiega1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We're pretty close to your overall percentage, around 1.25% and we fund ours from a flexible spending account (we turn in all of our healthcare receipts at year end for one lump sum). We started that years ago and love not having that financial pressure. I LOVE Christmas and want my kids to thoroughly enjoy it while they are young so I probably could do less, but I don't wanna.... -
It's not 100% control, because we were shocked to learn that people could still call in after the restricted times, she just couldn't call out. Same with texts. Freakin dumb....TMoble's restrictions were a lot better.

In our house our kids know that we have to pay for the materials to build the toys, not the labor, so that eliminates the "Santa can bring it all" mentality... We have always let them know that some kids don't get Christmas because their parents can't afford the materials and some get WAY more than our kids because their parents are crazy and give Santa wayyyyyy too much money! Oh and our house, me=No Wrapping Mrs=Wrapping So we comprimise and do half and half... I still think no wrapping = lots less work!

And Pubby has it on the front page, if these items don't find their home it isn't for a lack of trying!

Car broken into at Skating Rink

Wow, busting out a window, that is pretty gutsy at that time of day! I am so glad they didn't do that to mine, I never leave mine in the car but we were late for the party and I was trying to get the gift in the bag and completely forgot it. I hope they catch them! -

Scary, we just left around 1pm that time from a birthday party, I wonder if it was the light blue minivan parked directly in front of me. Did you lock it? The reason I ask is that I forgot my cell phone charging in the cupholder and I didnt' have any issues but my doors were locked. -
When I interview potential employees it annoys the crap out of me that they can't give a direct answer to a direct question. They tend to babble on and I am sitting there asking them to shut up in my head over and over. Also, I completely agree with the Facebook think, we always check and often can't get into them due to privacy settings but we do see the picture and can get a great impression just by the girl sitting on the bar with a funnel down her throat... What is it they say, a picture is worth a thousand words?!!? LOL

Home Loan Modifications
its mr sarcastic to you replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, I think that is available but only if your loan was owned by Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae. Apparently Suntrust sold a LOT of their loans to Mac and Mae but wanted to hang on to mine. I keep telling Suntrust to sell it! But they keep going ... -
Home Loan Modifications

If my tax money is helping bail out these people who modify (and make no mistake it is) then I would like the same benefit as others.... I guess you missed the part where I want to refinance but can't, don't want to go into default and I don't have the cash laying around to pay it off. I am pretty well aware that I agreed to the rate when I bought it but so did all the others, so go try that "just be grateful you have a job" mentality crap on someone else... -
If you are watching tv can't you just turn the tree off or are you one of those fancy schmancy multi taskers?

Rather than hi jack the other topic I decided to start my own.... I was reading in the other topic where someone got a loan mod to 4% and I see it happening all the time for people in default of their loans and while I am extremely happy for the particular poster that made the comment just because he shared how dire his situation the fact I am paying a 5.9% rate is a bit irritating. I called my mortgage company to ask them about getting a better rate and they said are you current, YES, are you having financial difficulties, NO, is your home fannie mae or freddie mac? NO, Do you have

Has this man lost his ever loving mind?

This is exactly the way we calculate salary for an employee. We decide the budgeted amount for the employee we want to hire then start deducting workers comp premiums, unemployment premiums, benefit costs, tax matching, etc and then what is left is the salary we offer. Any company that does not consider these costs will be another company putting a LOT of folks in that unemployment line. So, while they don't see that deduction coming out, make no mistake, they are paying it in one way or the other.... -
