  1. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad my kids can't fit in those anymore, it was like driving a mack truck through downtown Atlanta in rush hour!
  2. Thanks, I will do that, I will likely try Marietta Ford next after I hear back from PSD. I just figured now that my truck vin is noted I will get the same response everywhere. But it is worth a shot! AND HWAM, I just have no words...
  3. I personally didn't care one way or the other if mine had the step or not, but having smaller kids I did find it handy for when they wanted to ride in the back in the subdivision to the pool, etc. This truck was the only one within hundreds of miles that had the color/equipment I wanted, but it had the step and two other options I didn't really care if I had. I take meticulous care of my cars and rattles/squeaks drive me .
  4. Um, these tailgates are REALLY expensive, I don't think I will be trying any of these options... (And I have an Expedition and an F150, Fuel Economy is apparently not one of my top concerns.) I haven't touched it in regards to correcting the issue, I am afraid if I do anything and it doesn't resolve it they will say, oh you screwed with it, so we can't fix it under warranty. Thanks for checking with him!
  5. The one on Dallas Hwy. Yeah, I have a post on the F150 forum, but so far not much advice to resolve it. The number would be great if you don't mind! I am prepared to try the media route if I can't get something done. I have emailed some higher ups at the dealer, hopefully I can get a response, if not then I will do what I have to do.
  6. I have a 2011 Ford F150. I have an issue with a squeak coming from the tailgate of the truck. There is apparently a design flaw of the hidden step that comes out of the tailgate that causes an unbelievable squeak when driving. (imagine two very large pieces of styrafoam in the back of your car rubbing together non stop ). Well I took it in once, they tried to fix it, drove off from the service area and it was still there. Turned right around and went back. I was told that they know it's there but the Ford engineers don't have a fix but they would talk to engineering again and bring it b
  7. I agree completely, she has ZERO resposibility for sharing her health concerns. You will probably see all the idiots come out now saying, I want to sue Paula for making me diabetic! What a freakin world we have now where someone thinks a chef owes some kind of responsility for medical disclosures in a timely basis...
  8. Wonder if the weird Burger King dude knocked her up...
  9. We always sit up high, best view! Although my six year old gets ticketed off they can't shoot those t shirts up that high!
  10. Um, the effects of whatever you were smoking last night are still lingering because that makes NO sense...
  11. Not finding a job is still and excuse for them though, in that even, "in home bartering" is a good choice. Lighten your load and let him have a phone at the same time. We always make the jobs ridiculously low paying so that they would prefer to babysit or something else in order to earn it.
  12. I agree completely.... My 13 year old doesn't get allowance for working around the house because we pay for her phone, she gets a little testy every once in a while saying she doesn't get allowance but I tell her to give up the phone and she will. Life is about choices, she has to decide what she wants more and she chooses the phone, then babysits for spending money. If you told them that he was responsible for paying for it and he doesn't, then CUT IT OFF! He can always do chores for you to pay for it, but if you tell him that, make him do it and follow through.
  13. Even though Grave Digger got nekkid I think Grinder should have won it, those end over end flips were amazing! And those stupid little jet pack go carts need to be gone!
  14. Whatever the kids wanna fix themselves, I think Frosted Flakes is in my near future! yum!
  15. I personally would choose the Honda just because it is the larger and more comfortable car and gets basically the same mileage as the Accord. Accords typically re sell faster than Nissan's as well. I used to buy and sell auction cars and Honda's ALWAYS went the fastest. We had an Altima and tried to sell it before our lease was up and we just ended up turning it back in. ETA - My mother in law has a 2008 Accord LX-P that we bought new and loves it.
  16. We are going back and forth between going Marta and driving. We have driven the past few years but had a horrendous experience last time. We left Dallas at 4pm, finally parked and in the dome at 8pm and then didn't get home until almost 1am. So this year we are considering Marta. We are not one of those who leave just before it is over so we will likely be in the thick of the mess since we are up high in seats. For those who have done both Marta and driving, which do you think is the faster/easier choice?
  17. What the heck do you people care what it is called?!!? Sheesh... Accident, Incident, Bad use of common sense, Learning experience, use what you want to.... Weirdos.....
  18. Just a tip for you.... Be very careful of selecting a real estate agent who is now managing rentals because of slow sales, they often jump in without the proper knowledge and I have seen a lot of people get burned due to that lack of knowledge. Just because they are a licensed agent does not mean they have the ability/knowledge to manage your rental home. Pick a person/company that has YEARS of experience so that you are well taken care of, if they don't have years of experience with managing multiple properties then stay FAR away! I am not saying anyone in this thread is incapable of man
  19. My brothers and their families are going, 12 of us!
  20. LOL, that was changed real fast like after your post!
