  1. We recently went with my son's scout troop in Paulding and we just called the fire dept over behind Home Depot in Hiram and submitted our request there and received approval very quickly.
  2. I had the same problem, Dr. Vaughn wasn't accepting new patients and everyone else was booked out MONTHS! But they brought on Dr. Alford and started taking new patients in the fall I believe...
  3. We use Dr. Alford in that office, I believe she is rather new to the practice but she is great as well.
  4. Have you checked the senior community in Dallas called Amberly? I don't recall if they are that cheap but it would be worth a try.
  5. And to the others, nuggets are on the menu in about a half an hour!
  6. Yes, it is Port Canaveral, but we are going back to Orlando for a few days and then leavnig. I completely forgot about Silver Springs, went there as a kid, I will look up that info... Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
  7. Next month we will be going on a cruise and have a couple of days to waste afterwards and have it all planned out except the last two days. Whe are thinking about going to a theme park in Orlando and starting the drive home the final night and stopping at some point. The next morning we would like to visit an attraction (maybe a half day type thing) to break the drive up. (I hate riding in a car for very long). Anyone have any suggestions in the northern FL or south GA area? It will be and the Mrs as well as two 13 year olds, an 8 year old and a 7 year old. Any suggestions?
  8. Honestly, if they are in that kind of financial position you are probably out of luck, I know it sucks but I don't know if it's worth the filing fee but if you want to pursue it go down to the courthouse and file a civil case against him and at least get him pulled before a judge. But honestly he is going to file bankruptcy against you anyway.
  9. Dallas Hwy near E Paulding Dr (used to be Dragstrip Rd)
  10. If you want it immediately you can go down hear the old Ford plant in Atlanta and get a replacement one while you wait. If you can wait you can go to the tag office. You can download the form and have it all done before you go. Just google replacement title in Georgia and you should come to the site, just click on the .gov one and not all the weird .com ones offering to do it for you. I think mine was about $20 or so, it wasn't too expensive. Found the form link: Click Here
  11. I'm so proud! And I do neither, if it has sour cream in the container I toss it in the trash, that crap is NASSSSSSTTTYYYYYY!
  12. Thanks for the advice everyone, we aren't alarmed by it but just wanted to see if anyone had anything they did that was a help to resolving the issue. We don't want to just sit around and not do anything. I received a pm that was helpful on showing flashcards and letting them write it on a little chalkboard/whiteboard so I think we are going to try that route. We don't want to make it a huge issue, we just want to help fix it.
  13. It does stop if the tailgate is down then immediately starts when it is put back up. The only reason they narrowed it down to the step is that when the truck is parked you can go back and just slightly bump the step only portion of the tailgate, it does the same squeak just not as continuous as if you were driving down the road.
  14. Unfortunately Ford won't allow anything to be done whether it is repair or replace because they consider it normal since a few others on the lot did it, they even listed the stock numbers on the ticket of the trucks with a similar issue... And since it's under warranty Ford has to authorize it.
  15. No one is concerned about it, so we haven't really been either other than correcting him when we see it. He doesn't do the mirroring thing or the writing from right to left, so it seems to be an age thing, I just want to make sure we are doing all we can to help him learn the correct way and not hurt the process. I fully understand the sometimes you have to let them out grow it philosophy, but also want to help if we can.
  16. You mean like one of those red tinted report cover things or something special? And this corrected the writing too? Interesting....
  17. Our youngest is in first grade and he has always had an issue with writing his letters backwards. Everything we are reading/hearing is that it is normal and not to be concerned if they are not through 1st grade. He is a very bright kid, can read with no issue other than being lazy and wanting to read too fast but if we slow him down he sounds them out correctly, VERY mechanically minded amazing at math and overall a good student. The issue is he often writes random letters backwards (typically the common ones, b, d, g, z, etc) and when asked to review his letters he often doesn't catch whic
  18. I agree with you, I have always had great experiences with Hardy as well, but I will warn you my tailgate did not make the squeak in the first month or two, so I would ask them about the issue (Jeff in service is very familiar with it as well as Terry Harris) and what will happen if it occurs with you. I would strongly recommend just staying away from the step, it isn't really that useful at all. With all that said, I have bought NUMEROUS cars from Hardy and referred NUMEROUS people who all made purchases, I have sent messages to the higher ups in the dealership with no response so far, and
  19. Actually the Lemon Law attorney I spoke with today stated that he would contend that the squeak would be scrutinized by someone purchasing the truck, therefore affecting the value so it is covered. I am hoping PSD's friend can get it fixed though, I really like the truck otherwise.... Oh wait, you were serious weren't you! In that case I have some BEAUTIFUL ocean front property off Mt Tabor I would love to sell you! I am in NO way a brand specific person when it comes to cars, but the Chevy didn't come close in any way to the Ford at all! So you're whole posts makes me
  20. That was always my first condition, "If I get this thing you are NOT getting out one single time." and I never let them, so the fad wore off quick when they couldn't snatch and grab off the shelves on the cookie aisle!
