  1. On Hwy 61...between Ridge Rd. and Nebo Rd.
  2. The news guy reported that the SO had several cars "swarming" the neighborhood trying to find the guy to talk to him. They had a direct shot of the tag number in one of the photos so I'm not sure why LE wouldn't be able to track the person down. BTW, there was a handicapped sign before the numbers on the license plate. So if you see this truck, call me immediately...I need to sell a house! All joking aside, I'm happy to know that we watch out for each other out here. Even if the guy is just trying to find a house....which I would happily sell to him.
  3. I thought that was the whole point. People are getting concerned. Concerned enough to call a news station out to cover it. I'm sure the SO is aware of the potential outcome of this pattern of behavior. They can't very well go arrest the guy at this point but they can alert parents.
  4. I know, right? And a PI with a bright red truck? At this point, can we not at least get a suspicious person alert sent out on nixie or something? Kids who's parents don't watch the news or get on p.com today need protecting, too.
  5. DS has had a relapse after being fine for three days. That, or "it" has a cousin!
  6. Great to hear that they are thinking of the students. This can't be easy.
  7. Pubby, has the family requested that her name not be revealed? I'm certain that we do not know this woman. I just feel badly for those that will be dealing with this after her funeral. Prayers for the family and all those who will miss her.
  8. Stomach bug is back over here. When the flip do you send your child back to school when he does well for two or three days then starts puking all over again? Was that what you had in mind?
  9. Just a personal opinion but I think they should post her name today while parents still have the kids at home. Not all children that are affected by this will be in her class. Some may even be in other schools by now.
  10. Yes, as of Jan 1st it's GCA (Ga Cyber Academy) and there is a lot of work!

    Is it true?

Wow....Polk, Harralson, any other local counties?
  12. Maybe re-present the idea after each wrong way accident that you hear of.
  13. Thanks for the update. Been thinking about her.
  14. Pat altered DD's dress this past week. She did a great job for a great price. Thanks so much! Also, she has volunteered to help out backstage at the middle school pagent next weekend. What a great idea since none of the moms can be back there to help the girls. Just thought I'd toot a horn for her!
  15. I'm no doctor but I think it's a very good sign that she's survived this long. More prayers.
  16. Thanks for the heads-up. I thought it was already illegal in Ga! Shows what I know. I will definitely call tomorrow. Thanks for the link!
  17. Done. Went through this with BIL. It is more hereditary than we ever thought. I hope their family is aware of that. Hits males more often than females. BIL is one of 13 kids. He and one of the brothers both had brain aneurisms, in addition to many extended family members. She will need lots of prayers. She has a long road ahead of her. Also, pray that she has someone stay with her because most of the Emory nurses will ignore the agony she will go through. We had to be there at all times and document all meds and times given so that they would not hold out on him and make hi
  18. So, not only do they let her go around and terrorize, they then let her have a litter of puppies. This can only make her behavior worse. Maybe you can sue them for the money you'd need to put up a huge fence in your yard since they don't seem to have a use for one. I really hope these people are not allowed to raise the puppies. Momma dog will not be the best example for them!
  19. We need to go bland. DS was pretty sick today. Boiled chicken? Maybe soup? Sorry for ruining the dinner thread
  20. Wow, she is showing lots of the signs for menangitis, except for the fever. When my daughter was a toddler, they said they could test for this with a blood sample. Maybe the sample indicates whether there is a need for a spinal tap? This was at Children's Healthcare. Hope she feels better fast. I'd be calling the dr. P.S. DS is home today with vomitting. So something is going around....still.
  21. So the board is providing daycare, now? It's a school, not a nursery. I understand the concerns but I didn't think we were supposed to rely on the government for childcare. Maybe I missed the memo. I thought we were to step up where our own children are concerned. Looks like plenty of notice was given and parents will adapt. That's what we do. I remember reading about one county that did this to make it through tough times, then planned to go back to normal. Everyone loved the 4 day schedule so much that they decided to keep it that way. Sorry I don't remember the place. I guess
  22. Oh yeah, forgot about that. Take benadryl. Hopefully you've called the doc by now.
