  3. I downloaded the book, and saw all the other books he has published, they sound like they are right up my alley. The reviews were really good on every book he's written. Thanks again.
  4. I dream in vivid color, and surround sound. I love to dream that I am flying, but most of the time I dream I can skip along like the astronauts did on the moon.
  5. I can understand a memorial service for the victims of the accident, but a traveling display? What in the world do they have to display? That just seems creepy to me. I remember the crash like it was yesterday. I can't believe it's been 36 years either.
  6. I turned on the scanner when I heard the sirens, but all I know is there was accident. I think two people were hurt according Clarks dispatch. I listen to the scanner on my computer. Try radioreference.com or the link below. I also have a police scanner app on my iPhone, so if you have a smart phone see if you can get the free police scanner apps. http://www.radiorefe...on=cwp&ctid=492

  8. I feel so bad for her. I grew up watching the MTM show, and the Rhoda. I always loved the role of Rhoda and Valerie Harper. She played a character I looked forward to seeing every week. I was inspired by her sassy and independent role she played as a woman of the 70's.

If one of the teachers at Sandy Hook,or any teacher anywhere, wrestled the gun from a murderer, would that teacher have been suspended for the same offense defined as "possession of a firearm without intent to kill?" Some on here will say rules are rules, and the rule was broken, so puni
  12. Good luck on your job search. I hope someone makes your day today.
  13. Leave it to you to ruin my topic. Not a nice thing at all. You just like to argue with anyone and everyone. Please, do me a favor and stay out of the topics I start. I am trying to keep things nice here. Now have a nice evening.
  14. Ooops! That's what happens when you are watching TV and posting in between commercials. Thanks Jenliyn!
  15. Thanks for the cobbler recipe, that was nice of you.
  16. Sounds like your dad has the right attitude. What does it hurt to smile at someone or open a door. And how is it to stop your car and give a cold lady your scarf. You know the lady had to of had her heart lightened. I am sure she felt great for such a wonderful gesture, NO See post #1
  17. If you read my post you would see I was talking about someone doing something nice for me. It made me happy to know there are still people out there who don't hesitate to help others. This thread is not about bragging, it's about passing on kindness to others. Do you get it now?
  18. Crap! Was the kid eating a Pop Tart too? What is WRONG with these "schools?" What does this do psychologically to these poor kids? It has to have a negative impact on their self confidence.
