  1. I voted yes, but I don't think the mods would be able to sort out all of the "suggestions" That's a big ole can of worms.
  2. I have a huge oven that can hold a lot of stuff when someone calls and say's they are dropping by. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Good luck with the blind date. Whats for dinner?
  3. Just add up all the money your saving. Pretty soon you should have quite a bankroll. Keep up the good work, you can do it!!
  4. I believe one nice gesture can help someone have a better day. Example, letting someone in line at the store go ahead of you because they have less items than you. I had a nice man seeing me struggle with big plastic storage bin I bought and he carried it to my truck for me. I could have carried it, but it was so nice to know there are gentlemen still out there. He made my day by his act of kindness. Kindness, pass it on. Has anyone make a nice gesture to you lately? :lol:The finger doesn't count!
  5. This is going on Country wide. At this rate by the time these children are adults, it will be much easier to disarm the citizens. You have to start the propaganda early on for it to work.
  6. OH HEAVENS!!!! Thrash the lad! Then put him in public tied to a stake for him to be an example for all to see. If it was his finger, he used they should break it. That will teach him not use his imagination, and pretend weapons will not be tolerated. It's that zero tolerance pretend law. Has the school system banned the word "bang" too? If not, they should include "boom" and the machine gun sound, "rat a tat tat". I am sure there are many more words that need to be vetted out by the school system. All in good time.
  7. Anything to help the animals. Sounds like a great way to promote an animal hospital.
  8. This is not only stupid, but I have to pause and wonder what else they schools are doing to the students. Maybe the school thinks he will start an"ethnic cleansing" movement with pop tarts. They need to take the "pop" out of the product name. I can just hear some kid say" I'm going to pop a tart in your arse."
  9. I'm with you Spitfire. I got a few days on the flower garden last week. Thinning out some perennials that have run amok. If anyone wants to have a plant trade, or if you just want some plants, I have some weeping butterfly bushes and beauty-berry bushes you can have. Also have chocolate vines, I trimmed my bay tree, so if anyone wants fresh bay leaves to cook with I have a couple hundred leaves you can have. You can even make a wreath out of them, let it dry and still cook with them. I can't wait for warmer weather to get here. I have a lot of flowers ordered and will arrive in late March. I
  10. Sorry off topic..... African Americans. Many give us dirty looks. I just smile and go about my business . Right after Obama was elected a woman of color stormed up to me at SAM's, and started cussing me out because I had a biracial baby- my grand daughter. She made a scene about whites and how she hated us. I really thought at first she was kidding or I was on "What would you do?" The poor man she was with just looked at me in total embarrassment while she ranted. Finally drawing attention with her cursing I asked her if this is the way she spoke around children? That took her back for a
  11. Just another reason not to eat meat. I had rather go to local beef producers to get my meat products.
  12. Continued prayers for Tripp. God Bless you and your family.
  13. Is America ready for biracial people? I have a biracial grand daughter, guess who gives me the stink eye the most when we are in public. I was even attacked and threatened with violence one day in front of the baby.
  14. http://screen.yahoo....-120000466.html This is a spoof of the Bachelorette. Funny as all get out.
  15. I've been retired for years now. I socked everything allowed into my 401K and the company matched half up to a certain amount. Then I bought company stock every week. The stock split four times when I was working. I rolled over to Roth account and a few good CD's. I started saving as soon as I got a job and it has payed off. Hubby is also retired and draws retirement. I am still too young to draw yet, but it's coming soon. We look at it as extra money we can use to travel. We have health insurance under the company umbrella, and will always have it. Its more involved than most
  16. Congratulations on the success of your business. 15 years is something to celebrate in this economy! Way to go.
  17. Please send me the work from home info. I am retired and have the time to do work from home. Thank you!
  18. So sorry Tripp has had such a hard time. Hang in there, you need rest too. I will continue to pray for you and Tripp. I am also praying for the doctors too. May God help guide the doctors to help Tripp.
  19. Continued prayers for the family and Tripp!!!!
  20. It's the home grown terrorist we have to think about too. Remember the Fort Hood shooting? The point is five nuclear carriers are docked in one port. No matter when the picture was taken, the carriers are still there. Don't kid yourself, we are still at war and the terrorists made it clear they are bringing the war to the people of the US. What targets are they planning? Who would have ever believed the TWIN TOWERS could be attacked? No citizen saw that coming. Everyone would scoff at the notion. The only point I am trying to make is why set up any targets. Remember the international waters
  21. What is wrong with this picture? The picture is of five nuclear carriers. Just like Battleship Row, Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941 This picture was taken the other day in Norfolk. The Obama Administration ordered 5 nuclear carriers into harbor for "routine" (?) inspections. Heads of the Navy were flabbergasted by the directive. Norfolk, VA (February 8, 2013). Sources stated that this breached a long standing military protocol in the Navy meant to avoid massive enemy strike on major forces.
