And don't forget Forsyth Park where the fountain is. There is so much to see just by walking through the historic district and all of the parks and fountains. We went down for Thanksgiving last year and did the dinner boat ride and it was wonderful. But we also ate on Riverstreet at the Shrimp Factory and I though it was very good.

Gidget, the famed Chihuahua who appeared in Taco Bell ads, died Tuesday at the age of 15. Karen McElhatton, Gidget's owner, tells Usmagazine.com the dog was with her trainer, Sue Chipperton, watching television when she began making "strange noises" and suffered a stroke. Before the dog's death, "She had a good day and was running around as normal," McElhatton tells Usmagazine.com. "We're happy that she was very well off right until the end." Gidget -- whose "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" spots debuted in September 1997 -- also had a cameo in Legally Blonde 2, in addition to appearing in

* Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong. *Keep skunks and bankers at a Distance. *Life is simpler when you plow around the stump. * A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor. * Words that soak into your ears are whispered...not yelled. * Meanness don't jes' happen overnight. * Forgive your enemies. It messes up their heads. * Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you. * It don't take a very big person to carry a Grudge. * You cannot unsay a cruel word. * Every path has a few p

But you do talk politics in there, so obviously you have turned it ON. So why vote YES? I see only 2 or 3 have voted YES. All you have to do is type in the password ON and it's there for your viewing pleasure as long as you want. I really don't understand why this is even a topic. Nobody is left out, right? And just to add, I keep all of them turned ON, I'm too nosey to NOT be in the know.

If you type in the password ON then they are visible. So what's the deal? Personally, I think if you put them on the open board they would get shut down. At least by being password protected you don't have to see them unless you want to, and all those folks can just argue all day 'til the sun goes down. Makes for some good entertainment sometimes.

DO NOT stay at the Atlantis or The Ocean Plaza. Real dumps. When we went last Thanksgiving we stayed at the DeSoto. Relatively new, very clean. DESOTO HOTEL here's a list of motels I always go to TRIP ADVISOR and read the reviews of the hotels. Very helpful! HAMPTON INN IN SAVANNAH

It'll be right up the street for me, and on my way home at night at the corner of Hiram-Sudie and Hwy 61 S. I've only seen them in North Georgia and North Carolina. Can't imagine it will be much different than a Winn Dixie. For vegetables, deli and bread I will still go to Publix (which we finally have one 3 miles from my house). For meat I go to West Metro. Everything else is Walmart. They have the best prices. No. I go to Walmart. Best prices on everything.

Happy Anniversary!!! That will be so much fun for just the two of you. Ya'll have a great time, and remember: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...............unless you want to tell us!!

You got that right, but that's life. There will always be hateful people. Grumpy people. Negative people. Tattle Tales and Rumor Mongers.

That's what I was wondering. But I'm glad they found it

Bet I'm older than you!! You don't remember 4 years ago having fun on here, maybe even 3 years ago? There were so many folks on here and it was not fun at the expense of others. It was just fun. I miss GROUNDED, CB and all the other crew that left. There was a crew before them that left. Lighten up, francis!! And I guess I'm "easily amused". After a long day it doesn't take much.

I thought it was funny as hell!! There's never any fun around here anymore.

Congratulations!

You said it perfectly. What a wonderful story. And yes, I'm happy with myself but mine didn't come until I was in my forties. And it was not body image. I've always had a good body. A great body. Still wearing bikinis in my early fifties at the beach. Mine was coming to terms with who I was and where I had been and where I was going, and I knew I wasn't going where I had been. (For those of you that know me, I have gained weight. I've been on cortizone and have had some trouble with my neck and hip.......seeing a new ortho tomorrow. Bu
