  1. Wow Feelip, I hate to hear that. I've always used Epson and I love them. They print the best pictures. I have an Epson Stylus CX5000 all-in-one that uses individual cartridges and I can select to print only in black and that's what it does. Also, it will let me print even when one color runs low or even runs out. I also have an R260 for pictures. Again individual cartridges. Good luck.
  2. I just went back to check on them and see if they need anything. They have family coming from Douglasville so they will have help with a place to stay, and they are insured with State Farm. I asked about the little doggie.........he's a beagle/jack daniel mix and they rescued him from the Paulding shelter about 8 months ago and tonight the puppy rescued them. He barked and barked until (I think) the husband got up and saw the fire out on the front porch. It was already climbing up the walls and through the roof. He thinks it started on the front porch lights, they were on, but
  3. I was laying in bed shortly before midnight getting ready to go to sleep and I heard a huge explosion.....I wasn't sure what it was, so I got up and went out on the front porch and I saw a fire two doors down from my house. I walked out into the yard and the house was on fire. I slipped on a robe and shoes and walked down that way and the husband and wife and her father were out with their doggy but the front of the house was fully engulfed. I called 911, but a report had already been made. The Sheriff showed up first, then the rescue squad, then Clark Ambulance. We thought th
  4. Good God! How nasty!! On second thought, it might come in handy, because I've always wondered how people who are really, really huge wipe their a$$. It fully extends your reach 18". I'm just saying........
  5. I don't know what it's supposed to do, but when I clicked on it, it opened another window. THIS ONE Is that what it's supposed to do? And I'm using IE, and no pop up. Just another window.

  10. Thanks, I think! Anywho, I got one. Went to BrandSmart. They had the JVC Everio Hybrid MG330 for $268. Got the JVC camera bag with an extra battery for $68. We totally solved the problem of wondering if it would work with VISTA: We purchased a JVC Everio SHARE STATION. Burns DVD's directly from the camera, no need for the computer. It was $168 at BrandSmart. So far, so good. Everything is easy to operate and understand. I wanted the Ruby Red but all they had was the Blue. So that's what I got and I love it!! GZ-MG330A FEATURES E
  11. Have any of you had trouble uploading your movies onto your computer, especially if you have VISTA?
  12. Okay, I've been shopping and looking and researching. BrandSmart. Best Buy. Walmart. Searching ConsumersReport for ratings. I saw a JVC I liked. JVC Everio GZ-MG330 Blue ~ HDD Camcorder w/ 30 GB Hard Drive and microSD Slot I like the hard drive. Nothing to keep up with. The zoom is opitcal and it has opitcal stabilization. It has *5* Stars. It came in first on Consumer's Report. I'm thinking of getting this one. I'm looking at the mid-priced ones, this one is $329 at Walmart. Do you have one? What kind and what do you think? Difficult
  13. Hey Matt!! Lunch was so good today, I sent my son to pick up lunch. That chicken and rice was sooooooooo good!! How did you make the chicken?
  14. I'm glad, not for the domestic dispute, but the fact that it was not a random kidnapping.
  15. Well, I hope they found the gun and put their butts in jail for a long time. The world is full of idiots!!
  16. Basically, after the potatoes are cooked, I drain the the water and add the milk.............and you're NOT going to boil the milk like you did the water. You want to bring it to a slow boil and then turn it down or you will scorch the milk. How much you use is dependant upon how much soup you want. The milk is your soup with the potatoes added. I was telling Matt today what I like better than potatoe soup is potatoe dumplings. My grandmother used to make it and I still make it. I love it!! But I make my own dumplings, just like I make biscuit dough and I use buttermilk. You
  17. Your soup will be good without the bacon. Personally, I don't like bacon in mine. And just cut the potatoes smaller and as they boil and you stir them some will come apart and make the soup thicker. I use milk after the potatoes are boiled and then flour to thicken it (or as you said, make it creamy). Oh, and I went to see Matt and got a bowl of soup and some sweet potatoe fries!! YUMMMM!! Nice meeting you Matt. (and the bowl was too much, I should have went with the smaller cup.)
