  1. OMG! Was she pissed or what? On a side note, is Bill going to be taking Jimmah Cotters place? Sure seems like it.
  2. They do get smaller as the years go on. That's why I said after about the 20th, the snobs quit coming, for whatever reason. Some went through divorce, some hit difficult times. I went to school from 6th grade with all these kids, and the ones that are left are the one with some substance to them, instead of window dressing. Kinda like what PsychoMom was saying.
  3. I had a great time in high school and had lots of friends. I've gone to every reunion we've had. We had our 40th last year, and one of my girlfriends from high school got me started on FaceBook. It's amazing how many people I've reconnected with. I love reunions. My husband had his 40th a couple of years ago, and it was the first time he had gone to one. He was glad he did. He's also on FB making connections. It's really funny how the snobs don't come to the reunions anymore, I think they quit coming after the 20th.
  4. The Dillard house is on farm land. They grow what they serve. They also have a lodge. They also have horses for horse back riding and a large pen in the back with some goats, chickens and cows. It\'s really cool. We always go back there and we don\'t have any kids (they\'re grown). The land has been in the family since the LATE 1700\'s, lots of history. The Dillard House lodge and restaurant since 1917. THE DILLARD HOUSE Look at their events page. We went up last year for Labor Day and spent the night and had dinner on the lawn with a live band.
  5. I voted. Keep it bumped up so everyone can see it. I'll forget if you don't.
  6. I love that place and we try to go 2-3 times a year. If you haven't had their breakfast, you're in for a treat (feast).
  7. I want to know who took the first oyster, bloodied his hands opening it and then decided that slimy snotty looking thing would be good sliding down his throat. Makes me wonder how we came to eat a lot of the things we eat. Somebody had to try it first. Snails? Somebody was really hungry!
  8. I saw it on the you news. You pickem' and they are yours! Don't remember where it was, though.
  9. No. Jermaine was on Larry King last night, and their mother has not decided fully where she wants him to lie. On the one hand she (and Jermaine) wants him buried at Neverland, but the family is not so sure.
  10. Me too. I'm on my blackberry a lot, and the signatures slow it down.
  11. There were so many of his films that were great! I couldn't even begin to pick just one. But I made a post with his films last night, I didn't even realize that he had died until the news was on. Just so sad. JOHN HUGHES - MAY HE REST IN PEACE
  12. DIDJA KNOW THIS? In 1997, Abdul co-wrote "Spinning Around" along with fellow American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi; a dance-pop track intended to be the lead single off her new album. The album never materialized and "Spinning Around" was given to Kylie Minogue as a single. The song became highly successful and re-launched Minogue's career, as it was intended to do for Abdul, and reached #1 in numerous countries.
  13. Yeah, but I'd never remember it!! My memory span is about the length of batting eyelash.
  14. Good for you, makes the day go better, right?
  15. Nah, not old, but check out the forty seven year old women around you. Once in a while you'll come across a hot one!
  16. Straight Up! I love her too, she's genuinely a sweet person and very talented. She did the choreography for the Jackson's and later for Janet Jackson. The girl is 47 and still smokin' hot!
  17. Very well said. I'm sure when my daughter had her baby dolls, she probably pretended to nurse, because she had been breastfed. Breastfeeding is wonderful and I'm glad my daughter chose to breastfeed both of hers. But the doll and the concept is a little too much.
  18. SOURCE How sad! Oh, how I loved his movies. How can you pick a favorite? I loved them all, have them all, and me and kids used to sit and watch them, over and over. National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) Sixteen Candles (1984) The Breakfast Club (1985) Weird Science (1985) Pretty in Pink (1986) Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) Planes Trains & Automobiles (1987) The Great Outdoors (1988) She's Having A Baby (1988) Christmas Vacation (1989) Uncle Buck (1989) Home Alone (1990) Career Opportunities

  20. I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't know internet shorthand.......... Quick! Tell Us What KUTGW Means By STEPHANIE RAPOSO Kate Washburn didn’t know what to make of the email a friend sent to her office with the abbreviation “NSFW” written at the bottom. Then she clicked through the attached sideshow, titled “Awkward Family Photos.” It included shots of a family in furry “nude” suits and of another family alongside a male walrus in a revealing pose. After looking up NSFW on NetLingo.com—a Web site that provides definitions of Internet and texting t
  21. I saw it this morning on Hoda and Kathy Lee.......... I thought it was real creepy, kinda disgusting. And I nursed both of my children and so has my daughter. Just doesn't seem right.
  22. Well, you've had it, whaddaya think? I tell you what, the first time I put a piece of Godiva chocolate in my mouth, that's exactly what I said!!!
